My family hiked the nicely maintained and well-documented trails next to the Mossman river, swam in it, also enjoyed the pool that the hotel maintains. 'Not many hostels in Hervey Bay but if you’re looking for an eco-friendly option this is the place. The girl at reception was nice, helped me out with some things and just good chat. Rooms are clean although a bit worn down. But then again it has pretty affordable pricing. Enough amenities to get your solo travel sorted out and nearby the beach.'
