'A beautiful and peaceful spot to spend some time. Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay exploring the property and cooling down in the pool with the amazing view. A great base to check out Estremoz, Monsaraz and pottery in Corval as well. Paul is a lovely and helpful host with great local recommendations. Don’t forget to stargaze. The night sky there is spectacular! We can’t wait to go back. '

'This is an old building which has been nicely upgraded. It was roomy and comfortable. I was an excellent place to stay in order to visit historic sites. Dropped off bread and tarts were a nice unexpected treat.'

'We stayed for 3 nights in 44 degrees. The rooms were cool, the pool very welcomed. Supermarket was about 6 Kms away, easy drives to marvao and castello de vide, both recommended historical hilltop towns.'
