I was disappointed with my stay. I was checked in by a cleaner - meaning I was not provided enough details for my stay such as breakfast time which I missed. It was hard to communicate with the hotel staff as they speak very little English although it seemed that they were really trying. None of the spa services was were available during my stay. They also need to adjust their toilet seats especially for shorter people like me, my feet was basically hanging while sitting on the toilet.

The hotel is also the site of a fish restaurant, massage and spa! The rooms are a little dated and mine didn't have air conditioning, but having said that the room was large and kept cool. I arrived a day late and the staff allowed me to switch without charge - many thanks m

First of all the staff. I have been traveling many many places and I have never ever meet so nice staff in my life. The owner, cafe and reception staff. Top class! The massage and spa was amazing and the location is perfect. Large rooms with good showers Thank you for a pleasant stay!

Nice hotel
Spacious room with balcony. Breakfast is not a buffet. 15-20 min walk to centre (uphill on way back).

a bit of an uphill slog from downtown (I was walking). friendly staff! adequate restaurant associated with the hotel. room was nice, but there was a strange knocking sound (machinery?) that persisted for hours. it woke me up a few times, but I was able to fall back asleep. Didn't inquire with staff about the nature of this noise. might have been something that was located just above my room (my room was at the end of hallway on second floor). Anyway, good experience overall.

Portions were under construction, some lights out, not all nozzles in the shower sprayed most of the pattern, but there were many options as far as how to shower. It was a fancy shower, so the sideways ones not spraying wasn't a terrible issue. It had the handheld sprayer and a rain head that worked well enough.

The only great thing about the hotel was it’s staff. They are the most kind and accommodating people you will ever meet. As for the hotel rooms, they are small and lack much of the comfort a traveler looks for. One thing I would have appreciated in the room was a water kettle. The hotel is in need of maintenance, the shower heads in the bathroom need fixing, many of the lightbulbs need changing, and the hotel lobby is just uninviting. Breakfast in the restaurant next door was really bad so my son and I only had breakfast on the first day, the rest of the time we just had coffee and tea. The hotel location is good if you don’t mind a 10 minute walk to city center. If you can’t walk too much, then this location will prove too far for you. The restaurants in the area were really good; delicious food, reasonably priced.

In an area not too easy to walk to the city center. One has to find some "trail" to go down the hill. The staff are friendly, but the facilities are somewhat old.

Hotel Denis - Superior Staff
The hotel is very recently renovated. The rooms were modern and very clean. The hotel staff though was superior, anything we needed was taken care of immediately. The hotel was a short (15 min) walk to the city center. The free breakfast was great and much appreciated. I would definitely recommend.

I found the staff to be friendly, courteous, and over the top when trying to please their guests. This is not an American 5 star hotel; however, they treat you as 5 star guests. I would definitely go back to stay at the Hotel Denis. They also have a restaurant that's associated with the hotel and the staff there was equally as friendly and accommodating.

1. Reception is hard to find/not well marked. I had to go into the Chalet to find someone to help me check in. Reception is not always manned. 2. Manager is BEYOND helpful. He let me borrow his power plug to charge my iPhone until I bought my own. 3. Room--smoking issue with a guest in another room whose smoke was piped into my bathroom! Mattress was wirey. TV channels selection was extensive. WI FI was very very weak.

No air conditioning, but near bus station...
First of all, the room size booked, was not honored, and I ended up in a smaller room. It did have a balcony though - overlooking an establishment called Blue Massage. There were plenty of other massage joints in the immediate vicinity, so I suppose I should not have been shocked. However, what was shocking, was that the Hotels.com room description clearly stated air conditioning in the room: there was no air conditioning, or even air conditioning vents, in any of the hotel rooms. The hotel clearly need to describe their rooms more accurately. There was a room fan, but it is definitely a mis-description on the hotel's part. The big positive was the lovely young lady on reception to check me into the hotel. She has the biggest smile and the warmest personality of anyone that I met in Pristina during my short trip. There was no iron, but she let me borrow the hotel iron, (she even offered to iron my shirt!) so she was very helpful too...although I ironed my own shirt. Breakfast was in the pizza restaurant in front of the hotel and I assumed it is owned by Hotel Denis. The breakfast was cleared away promptly at 10am when I arrived, so I did not see what was on offer. However, the staff were helpful and I asked for a glass of orange juice and was given it. The hotel itself is a 20 minute or so walk into town or a 10 minute taxi ride. It is only a 7-10 minute taxi ride from the international bus station on the edge of Pristina and it should cost you no more that 2.5euro

Overall we had a really good experience stating in Hotel Denis. The ladies at reception were very helpful and had a happy humor always smiling. I would definitely stay here again.

A friendly, clean and comfortable hotel with a good atmosphere and facilities. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the food was excellent. A 20 min walk to the city centre, or a cheap taxi ride to a museum, Hotel Denis is the perfect place to stay.

Pleasant stay, clean, modern family run hotel.
Modern clean hotel with a good cooked or continental breakfast option. Service was impeccable. A family run establishment with helpful advice on bus options to nearby towns, sightseeing, and dining options nearby. Attached restaurant also served very good seafood options.

A week in Pristina
I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Denis. The staff was extremely friendly. The rooms are very nice and the king sized bed was very comfy. The included breakfast is a great deal and was delicious and filling. The hotel owned restaurant next door has good pizza if you don't want to venture out and they stay open late. The room had the absolutely fanciest shower I've ever seen in my life! Sauna mode, controls to show the water temperature, spray jets, a built in radio! The cable TV was also very good with a lot of English language channels. Across the street there is an ATM and a supermarket and there are cafes and a laundromat nearby. I really enjoyed my stay here and ended up staying an extra two nights. Highly recommended!
