The description of the property is accurate... make sure to read the entire thing. I thought that VRBO only allowed entire house rentals, so that was my mistake...Since it is the basement to the main house, we got to listen to the owners walk around above us all day. You can heear the toilet flush... footsteps... doors close... its all really disappointing for a vacation!The house itself was pretty dirty. The shower has mold all around it. The closet with the extra towels had mouse droppings along the selves and floor. The towels themselves were moist, dirty and had that left in the washer too long smell. Near one of the bedrooms there is a hole in the wall covered by a small door. My daughter opened it only to reveal moldy insulation. Overall I would say that this could be a very nice place to stay... but it really needs a good cleaning.

Cons for us: Maybe not you :-)The neighborhood is hilly. And the house is on a very hilly street. This made it hard to get the car unpacked and packed. Also the 15 steps down to the unit are fine when you are not carrying suitcases and supplies up and down to the unit. There is no handrail. The unit was not as clean as we like. It was very dusty and we had to dust everything before settling in.

Beautiful apartment in a great location

We enjoyed our stay at this apartment in Portland. It is in a great location with ample space for two couples or a family of four. It is so quiet at night. Everything is comfortable. It was central to several activities. We ate at Pepino's in the city, we went wine tasting at Patricia Green Cellars in Newberg, we ate at Red Hills Market in Dundee (really good), went to Helvetia Farm, we ate at La Provence. There are several walking trails around. Great place! Thank you, Lisa

Huge space for a small amount of money

The size of this VBRO is impressive for how little the nightly price. Communication was beyond impressive and probably one of the best I have received in all the years I have used VBRO. The beds were super comfortable, and the assortment of games allowed us to have a one of a kind enjoyable family night. Overall this place is a true hidden gem. I use the word hidden because the only downfall I had was, wasn’t actually the VBRO itself- its was how far it was from downtown. It’s not necessarily close to downtown at least with the directions it took us to get there. A long road of switch backs at a very slow speed.

Beautiful property

The location was a little bit farther than I expected from the location we were spending most of our time in Portland at but it's an absolutely beautiful drive to get there. The area felt very safe and comfortable. The rental was clean and well equipped to keep us all entertained for hours. The girls enjoyed the pool table and the games available. The furniture was comfortable and laid out for best use. The hosts were gracious and kind. Willing to assist with any need. They had laid out snacks and the kitchen was equipped with all the basics. We really enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable suite

Marina is very accurate in her description of the rental and wonderfully responsive. We had no issues whatsoever. The porch is perfect for coffee in the morning and bubbles for the toddler in the evenings. The hot plate is functional and for our short stay we didnt miss an oven. The parking does feel uncomfortable, the hills are steep and wind around tightly. I wouldnt want to be driving a manual car to this location! Truly, that is our only note.

This was a great place to stay for us and learn our way around Portland. The location is very quiet and you can get hooked on watching the sunsets nearby. The owner quickly responds to your questions. We are flat landers and it took a while for us to get used to the steep streets. This is very good quality property for the cost.

Beautiful, peaceful, and felt like home.

It was an perfect place to stay. It was very very nice, clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was beautiful and the deck was wonderful to sit outside for breakfast or evening drinks. The Host was very pleasant and accomodating.
