The Space:

Portland is all about supporting the local economy and artisans, and our custom furnishings and lighting add to the apartment's Portland feel. Also enjoy the artwork throughout the space!



The exterior of the building is unlike the larger box-style buildings around the city: rusted metal siding blends with painted stucco panels and black wood for a signature look along Hawthorne Boulevard. The building sits between the vibrant commercial stretch of Hawthorne and leafy side streets full of older Portland homes.



Inside, the apartment includes stainless appliances, an in-unit washer/dryer, large windows, cabinetry, countertops, WiFi, and a laptop-friendly workspace.



Cooling and heat come from a mini-split in the living room. The bedrooms do not have individual AC units, so airflow can be less direct with bedroom doors closed.

The Neighborhood:

Commonly known as “Foodie Row,” the Hawthorne/Buckman District puts you within walking distance to a wide variety of top-notch local flavors. Make new friends over a meal at the Cartopia food cart pod, get messy with some wings at Fire on the Mountain, or share a pie at Apizza Scholls. Portland isn't just for foodies. There’s vibrant indie spirit in Hawthorne, with lots of made-in-Oregon shops and boutiques to explore here in hipster heaven. Or, catch a movie at Bagdad Theater and Pub, a revamped 1920s theater turned view-and-brew venue serving local McMenamins food and microbrews. If bar hopping through neighborhoods isn’t your idea of recreation, head up to Mt. Tabor, a 176-acre city park on top of a dormant volcano vent, where you’ll find miles of hiking trails and incredible panoramic views of the city.



Getting Around:

🚶 Walking — This neighborhood sits between the Division and Hawthorne corridors, two of Portland's best streets for dining and shopping — both within easy walking distance.



🚌 Bus — TriMet Route 14 (Hawthorne/Foster) and Route 15 (Belmont/Morrison) connect the nearby corridors with downtown.



🚲 Biking — BIKETOWN bike-share is an option; check the current station map. Portland's bike lane network offers another way to get around.



🚗 Driving — Free public street parking is available throughout the surrounding neighborhood subject to posted signs. Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) is another option for getting around.



✈️ Airport — PDX is reachable by car or a MAX Red Line + bus connection.

We welcome pets! Our cleaning team cleans between every stay, though we can't guarantee 100% dander-free for allergy-sensitive guests.



This is a second-floor walk-up near the Hawthorne corridor, with no elevator. The rooftop deck is not included. Street noise may be audible, especially with windows open.

We're available by message anytime and typically respond within minutes. We're local to Portland and happy to help with anything - from restaurant recommendations to a quick answer at midnight when you can't find something. We keep a hands-off approach unless you need us, and when you do, we're right there.
