'My partner and I booked 2 nights away from Melbourne city for a quiet retreat. Unfortunately, this is not what we got. Although the room was beautiful and larger than your avarage hotel room, the walls are paper thin. The room is essentially an extra bedroom from the apartment adjoining. There is a go between door which has been blocked off. Unfortunately, on both nights we would hear the tv and music the other side of the apartment next door, which was occupied by 2 separate guests each...

'The location of this holiday house is very close to Wilson's prom, there is a beach in front of the house, you can watch the sunset, has fast wifi and it's well-equipped. The manager of this property, who manages this house is very active and enthusiastic and keeps us contacted. At first they provided us the wrong key code but they immediately sent someone to deal with it. Probably because of the long-term lockdown in Victoria, the house has not been used for a long time, so there is a musty...

'I stayed at Woodland Mirth with my bridal party prior to my wedding at Gurneys Cider. The house was fantastic & loved by all. Although close to the road, it is private & secluded. The gardens provided many opportunities for pre wedding photo shoots. Will look to hire again.'

'A pleasant overnight stay in a delightfully renovated home from, I think, the 50's or maybe 60's. Took me back to my childhood in those decades. The only glitch was that the oven was signed as "out of order" -- and I did not realise until starting the cooking procedure that this included the grill above it. But all was saved by the benchtop grill, which cooked our top shelf steaks to perfection..'

'It’s like a secret hideaway. Barely a two-minute drive from Foster, you wind up a sweet little path and the house appears at the top of a hill. I was surprised by the spaciousness of the house and how gorgeous the views were. You can see rolling hills and trees from most rooms, but the best view is from the veranda where you can enjoy a coffee and listen to the quiet murmuring of many different birds.
