We had a wonderful stay at this beachfront home on the Bolivar Peninsula. The house was clean, comfortable, and very well maintained. The location is hard to beat—right on the beach with beautiful views and the sound of the waves all day and night.One of the best parts was how quiet and uncrowded the beach felt. It was almost like having a private beach, which made morning walks and evening sunsets especially enjoyable. The home itself had everything we needed for a relaxing stay and plenty of space to unwind.A great place to get away from the crowds and enjoy the Gulf the way it ought to be enjoyed—peaceful, simple, and right on the water. We would definitely stay here again.

Concerning Issues With Our Stay.

During our stay at this property, we noticed that the listing photos may not accurately represent the current state of the property. The images seem to be from a renovation in mid-2022, and there have been changes since then.The cleanliness of the property did not meet our expectations. We found stains on the pillowcases and sheets, and a brown substance with an odor on the walls. Cobwebs were present in the living room, and there was noticeable dust and crumbs throughout, including on the bed railings. The air filter was significantly dusty, prompting us to replace it.We experienced low water pressure, and the hot tub was not operational. The putt-putt golf course had sand, which affected its usability, and there was no clear trail to the beach. The grass was mowed only at the end of our stay.We discovered concerning items in a dresser, and the host advised us to handle them ourselves, which was unexpected.Unfortunately, the host has not addressed these issues or responded to our follow-up inquiries.For future guests, I recommend reviewing these factors before booking. The property may have been accurately represented in the past, but there seem to be discrepancies with the current condition

Beach house was fabulous. Online pictures matched every room in person. Location was very good if you like seclusion. Just a Ferry Boat ride away from Galveston. We did have a small issue with a ceiling fan not working but management was quick to resolve the issue. I would recommend this Beach house and we will be back next summer.

Great spot on the beach.

We had a great time. Check in was going late so we had to sit around outside for an hour while they were still cleaning. The view was amazing. They were missing things like batteries, pillow cases, and plugs for Rokus. We had a great family trip that got cut a little short because of Beryl.

Never wanted to leave!

This location was amazing! We only left to go to the store for groceries and to check out M.O.M.S Petting Zoo (highly recommend). The house was super cute, the location was private as the immediate neighbors were not there at the time of our stay, and the amenities were so fun! We LOVED the putt putt, fire pit and hot tub. Nothing beats the sun setting on the ocean, the bonfire going, and watching it all from the warm hot tub. I would definitely stay again! But with that said, there were a couple things to note. The first two nights there was swarms of massive dragon flies, and me being terrified of bugs, this was hard for me to stomach. Obviously this is of no fault to the owners. The hot tub had a lot of dead bugs and dirt, and the water level was low, which we didn’t notice until late on the first night when we went to get in so that was a bummer. The owner did send some out right away to fix it the next day so that was very much appreciated. Also, the bed was very comfy however the comforters are extremely thin. We had to sleep with that bed comforter plus the couch blankets. This may not be a problem to some depending on sleeping preferences. Overall, the couple of downsides in no way outweigh all of the positives of this property. We desperately wanted to extend our stay but unfortunately we could not. Don’t miss out on this location!

Beautiful house on the beach with wonderful amenities

We really enjoyed everything about the house and our stay. Just a few things that was a bother. They only supplied 1 roll of paper towels and 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom. Usually that information is provided so families can make arrangements before coming. We had 3 kids and 4 adults and I cooked almost every meal of our stay so what was provided was not enough at all. Additionally most of the towels were still in the dryer and all the hand towels and wash cloths were new and not washed so I had to wash those before being able to use. The over all cleaning of the home could have been better. It just didn’t seem more than a light / surface cleaning. All of that said we would still visit this home again.

Amazing Property

This property had everything we needed and more. The location is terrific. We enjoyed lots of time on the deck and the large kitchen was great for fixing our own meals. There were so many shells on the beach and it was never crowded with people, even on the weekend. We would definitely like to return.

Gorgeous Galveston House

Our stay at this beach rental was absolutely magical!! The amenities alone were a hit!! Between the hot tub, the putt-putt, the fire pit, and of course private beach access our family had an amazing time!! No need to even travel into Galveston island (ferry wait was 2hrs)! So if you’re looking for an all in one home this rental is it!!! House complaint: Only complaint was that there was laundry (towels) left in the dryer for us to have to fold and put away on arrival. *Which isn’t much of a complaint, bc the house was stunning!!! Beach Complaint: There was a tar/grease on the beach (very little & hard to spot actually but still annoying) that got on a few items while visiting and was smeared in the hot tub some upon arrival. We didn’t let that stop us though! It was so relaxing! We will FOR SURE be visiting again at this location! The hosts were so friendly and answered any and all of our questions we had along the way!!! Thank you for letting us stay at your gorgeous home!

Excellent location right on the beach!

Location was wonderful and steps to the beach! Home was beautiful on the inside, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Loved the hot tub, swing, and miniature golf! Also, the furniture on the balcony was nice and is where I spent most of my time when I was not on the beach! The only reason I gave a 4 star for overall rating is the internet was a little slow, and the A/C was not as cool as we would have liked (although it was very hot outside while we were there). All in all we had a GREAT time and we loved that the house was right on the beach!!!

Lovely Time

Impressed with how clean the home was. It has basically everything you need. I’d bring extra paper towels (only 1 roll supplied) and dishwasher pods (2 supplied). The put put gold was a huge hit with the kids & such a great touch. Plenty of space to stretch out in this large house. I wishe their had been bath mats in the bathroom & kitchen hand towels. But it was great to have beach towels & bath towels with in house laundry. The outside shower was fantastic & helped us keep sand outside! Would love nicer pillows & mattress topper (beds are a little hard & main bedroom sheets weren’t fitted well to the bed). Also, boogie boards have seen better days. So, with all that said I’m being a bit bit-picky as we would absolutely stay again. I recommend Stingaree for good seafood and checking out the food trucks in the area. Ferry to Galveston was fun too!

Breathtaking View of The Beach!

This house was perfect for our Girls trip to Crystal Beach! We enjoyed sitting on the upper deck watching the water and listening to the waves crashing on the shore. The house is right on the beach and just steps from the lower deck you are quickly in the water. We enjoyed playing the mini golf course on the lower deck. The house itself is beautiful and well decorated in wonderful calming sea colors. The house was well stocked with everything we needed and more. Kelly the house owner was awesome and gave great directions from reservation to making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our stay! The house is located in a less populated section of Crystal beach which made it ever more enjoyable. It was also a short drive to the Fairy into Galveston. We would absolutely stay at the beach house again in the future!

Property was very nice. Views from deck were priceless! Beach access was amazing! Checkout is early (10am) which is hard for families with kids/teens. TVs are very hard to get connected. Labeling remotes with rooms would be helpful as to which bedroom/living room they belong in as all remotes were in wrong rooms on arrival so spent 1 hour figuring out TV situation which again is hard for families with kids/teens. It does take a while to get to Galveston depending on Ferry wait times. For quiet, beautiful beach views this property was great! Highly recommend if just looking for beach access.

Amazing Beach House!

We had a wonderful stay at this Bolivar Peninsula beach house! It’s located away from town, but we preferred that for a quieter stay. It’s literally steps from the beach, with an amazing view of the ocean from the large patio! Our kids loved the bunk room with arcade game, plenty of board games and cards, and even appreciated small details like reading lights on each bunk. The house is filled with small details that made the stay more enjoyable. All the light switches, remotes, cabinets are labeled so you know where everything is. I appreciated all the organization and how all the kitchenware is matching in a pretty shade of teal. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need! The house is very clean and very beautifully furnished. We all enjoyed the hot tub downstairs, as well as the mini golf. They have lots of sand toys, and everything you need for the beach. There are tons of towels for the beach and for showering, with a very nice washer and dryer if you need to do any laundry. My husband loved fishing right from the shore in front of the house, and the kids loved finding really cool shells on the shore. This is a very shelly beach, so water shoes are a great idea. We very much enjoyed our stay, and would love to come back again soon!

Beautiful!

Absolutely beautiful views from the deck! There’s something to do for everyone! We have teenager, child, and toddler and they all had things to do at the house the entire stay. We are especially grateful for the pack n play, booster seat and toddler utensils. It made our packing so much easier! The beach was our favorite, the boogie boards and sand toys kept our family entertained for hours! As said in other reviews, water shoes are a must have due to sharp seashells and also bug spray. The outdoor shower also has hot water-such a nice touch. Thank you for being awesome and attentive hosts, we hope to come back!
