Chalets in Port Angeles

'We were only here overnight, on our way around the Olympic Peninsula. As soon as we walked in, we all said we wished we’d had more time. The house was modern and clean and fully stocked, and there were ample life jackets for the kayaks. It feels secluded, but it’s only 20 or so minutes from a Safeway (to the east) or the lodge (to the west). We would have stayed all week if we could have. If we’re ever in the area again, we’ll be back!'

'The Chalet definitely has a mountain cabin kind of feel. I loved the gas fireplace feature, and the microwave/fridge/coffee station in the room were all very helpful to facilitate a quick and quiet breakfast in the morning. There was a ton of communication via text from the host leading up to our check in time, more than I expected, but it was all very clear and answered pretty much any question we could possibly have. 'We arrived later than expected so it was dark when we checked in. I was so anxious to see the view in the morning that I woke up the moment a little light broke through the curtain. I got up a walked to the other room and the view took my breath away. I could sit in the living room next to the fire all day and just stare out the massive windows. The place was so clean, organized, and well decorated. It was very cozy, we will definitely be back.'
