hotel in Poio
Jammer dat men op de website geen foto's toont van de "achterkant" ... we keken uit op een lelijke muur en een wand vol zonnepanelen... Voordeel was wel dat dit de rustige kant is ... (niet langs de straatkant dus)

Hotel con encanto, con parking al menos sin alta ocupación, habitaciones amplías con vistas a la ría, quizá mejorable la insonorización al estar al lado de la carretera. Terraza/solarium muy bonito y piscina en buenas condiciones. Amabilidad del personal un plus. Quizá el desayuno un poco flojo y caro en calidad/precio, café no expresso, zumos de polvo, variedad escasa, aún así cómodo al no haber cerca otra opción. Combarro al lado, ogrove a 25km, Sanxenxo cerca... Muchas opciones cercanas. Playa a 100m. Recomendable

El hotel en si normal, bien pero nada extraordinario, el desayuno si bien es buffet está un poco justo de opciones para mi gusto, el personal muy muy amable, eso cabe destacar. No volveríamos principalmente por el aparcamiento. Reservamos porque está especificado parking gratuito y luego de reservar recibes un mensaje de que no pueden garantizar la plaza, a los alrededores es extremadamente difícil aparcar y el hotel en si debe tener unas 15 plazas nada más que por lo que entendimos también usan los empleados. En temporada alta alquilan un viñedo que está enfrente pero que tampoco tiene mucho espacio. Como fuimos con amigos optamos por mover el coche lo menos posible para no quedarnos sin plaza, pero no era nuestra idea depender de alguien más para movernos.

La habitación es grande , cómoda y soleada.... el aparcamiento pequeño , debería estar señalado e incluso numerado por habitación, así no habría problema con la gente que no sabe compartir espacio ni aparcar bien.

Personal muy amable. Habitación amplia y cómoda. Bajo mi experiencia, deberían mejorar la señal wifi. En mi caso no llegaba señal a la habitación y poca cobertura, con lo cual, no pude aprovechar para trabajar. Para ocio, muy bien. Se come muy bien.

Nice stay
Rather small hotel, very friendly staff, especially at the breakfast (thank you), very severe COVID management to feel save, close to the beach. Room not very big but had everything I needed, was very clean, WIFI working well - overall a nice stay.

Todo bien, pero el la tercera planta no llegaba el wifi del hotel. Además se oía mucho el tráfico aún con las ventanas cerradas.

Lo mejor el personal!
El personal genial, súper agradables todos! El desayuno bien, lo necesario de todo, la habitación bien, la zona de la piscina estupenda! lo único que diría esque deberían de modernizarlo un poco se ve un poco antiguo, pero estancia genial!

El personal muy amable. El hotel está en general bien pero las paredes son de papel y el ruido de los coches en la carretera por la noche fue insoportable. Tuve que comprar tapones para dormir el segundo día. El acceso es complicado con niños, para ir a cualquier lugar fuera del hotel debes caminar por una carretera estrecha y sin aceras por donde los coches circulan a excesiva velocidad. No es posible encontrar tampoco un paso de peatones con lo que conseguir cruzar la calle es una aventura.

Hotel Villa Covelo was a solid choice, and a great value. It is close to many beaches, and the lovely historic Combarro, and was a convenient, comfortable stop for us on our Galician road trip. While it was not the most plush place we have stayed, everything was clean and the staff went above and beyond to be helpful and thoughtful. Would highly recommend as a good, budget-friendly option.

Fantastic Little Hotel!
Stayed 4 nights at the Hotel Villa Covelo and loved it. Friendly and helpful staff, convenient and tasty food options and a fabulous, quiet location directly across the street from the coastline with a great walk/run path along the water and only a 10-15 minute drive to the charming city of Pontevedra & 30mins from Vigo airport. Will stay here again!

Hotel muito bem conservado e limpo, funcionários atenciosos. WiFi não é bom, internet lenta e cai de vez em quando, piscina estava suja mas estavam limpando no final da minha estadia.

A little gem and pleasantly surprised.
The location was lovely just over the road from a beautiful small quiet beach. Stayed at the hotel for an event in Pontevedra and it was the perfect spot only 10km out of town. The staff were superb - friendly, helpful and very efficient you couldn't ask for more. The rooms were spacious very clean and well maintained. We had a 2nd floor room at the front with large velux windows and great view over the bay. 1st floor rooms at the front have a balcony and if we went back would request / pay for the balcony. Rooms at the rear also have balconies but the view isn't that great. The pool was just being prepared for the season and wasn't open but again looked very well kept. The roof top terrace again had amazing views and was a real sun trap. Evening meals you have the option of bar meals or main restaurant and although limited choices it didn't disappoint. Would definitely stay again if we go back to the area.

Stay here!
This hotel is great! You must stay here if you are in the area. The staff is wonderful and the area is very cute! It's a nice break from the hustle and bustle of bigger Spanish cities like Vigo and Madrid. My experience here was excellent all the way around.
