Our stay at Villa GG was WONDERFUL. The Villa is perched on a beautiful hill that gives you wonderful ocean views.. The furnishings are chic and the layout is great for families or friends ‘groups.The host can provide you with every service and activity that you might like to engage in while you are staying there. He is very available and will help you in anyway you need. This is the best VRBO that we have rented, and engaged host who will provide everything for you. We went for my partner & friends 40th birthday celebrations and the villa did not disappoint! It was clean and spacious, keeping everyone together but also private space with your own bathrooms! The villa was beautiful and everything was delivered at a high level of perfection including the breakfast! The pizza and cocktail party was a brilliant night and the host couldn’t do enough for you! Milestone Birthday Celebration

I rented Villa GG to celebrate a milestone birthday with 17 of my friends. My goal was to find a home that would be spacious enough for 18 women, with services that would allow everyone to have great time and relax… this villa did not disappoint!!! I would like to thank GG and his wife for the best week I could have imagined. GG helped me organize all of the events in advance (i.e., Pizza and Cocktail Party, Private Chef dinner, Catamaran and Car Transfers), this made planning this trip so much easier for me. Each event was amazing and my guests thoroughly enjoyed all of them. I was also very impressed with the breakfast every morning. The house is beautiful with the most amazing views. My friends and I will definitely be return customers.

Fantastic family vacation!

Our family (20 of us from ages 18 to 90) met in Split to start our family vacation and celebrate my Dad's 90th birthday. The villa was excellent for our purposes with a host who was always available and extremely helpful. GG arranged two special nights for us which were a highlight of the trip. The "cocktail and pizza party" saw the pool area transformed into a trendy lounge with mood lighting, DJ, fun bartender and drinks and of course 'to die for' thin crust pizzas. Highly recommended if you have a big group like we did as nobody wants to cook when they're on vacation! The sit down surf and turf type dinner was a great first family meal together after a long day of traveling. The food was excellent and another highlight of the trip. For this trip we spent time at the pool relaxing, a day trip yachting and an evening in the old town area. The villa is a bit out of town but completely self sufficient with great access to the water, grocery stores and restaurants, but be prepared for traffic jams to get into town depending on when you travel. Villa GG served our purposes extremely well and GG is a wonderful host. Do take advantage of his knowledge and connections to get the most out of your stay. We'd highly recommend this villa!

Stunning

The facility is as advertised. It's beautiful, clean, neat, and spacious. The house does not lack anything. Each floor has an open kitchen, a large family room, and comfortable seating with a large screen TV. Each bedroom has comfortable beds and its own modern tiled bathroom. The views from the second and third stories are fabulous as you view the Adriatic Sea. The first floor enclosed back porch is perfect for dining of up to 22 people. The two outdoor pools a nicely tiled and the perimeter of each is neon lite; a very nice touch. One pool is of normal depth, the other is a wading, great for small children or adults who wish to sit in a pool. Most importantly, our host, GG, and his staff are super friendly and helpful. If you have a question, they have an answer. Further, they can make any and all arrangements you want for your perfect vacation, whether it be a special pool pizza party or a genuine Croatian feast. Finally, the included breakfasts are huge, delicious, and home made. It was hard going home after this experience at Villa GG. Our week there was memorable.

Fantastic!

A group of 20 of us booked the entire villa for a week. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the accommodations. GG and his wife are attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and responsive hosts. We appreciated their added services which included scheduling outings, dinners and lunches for our group. We were a large group of 22 people (6 families with adults and teens) staying at Villa GG for a week and we had an amazing time there ! The Villa was better than presented, with plenty of room for adults and children to spread out or congregate for meals and lounging. The pool area is fabulous and the Villa is in walking distance to the beach, restaurants and a small market. Each morning, we were greeted with a delicious breakfast spread ! GG, Ivana and staff were wonderful and very accommodating throughout the week. They planned a traditional Croatian Barbecue dinner, A pizza cocktail evening and a day trip to Dubrovnik for us to enjoy. We loved our week in Croatia at Villa GG and would most definitely return !!! Thank you for such a memorable 50 Birthday Celebration with our beloved friends and their families!!!

Vi var 19 personer mellan 5-70 år som bodde i denna fantastiska villa. Bra sovrum med egna badrum. Stora sällskapsutrymmen både inne och ute. Den var perfekt för vår familj. We Loved This Place and the Hosts

I cannot say positive things about our stay! It would take me an hour a day for a week to properly praise GG, Ivana, the staff (and the bunnies) enough, BUT I will do my best. 1.) Before the trip, the communication between GG (the host) and I was first-rate! If GG did not respond to me right away, it wasn't more than a few hours, and this was amazing because there was a 6-hour time difference! That made me feel important and welcomed before we stepped foot onto the property. 2.) Additionally, prior to the trip, GG was accommodating to a few changes/requests we had for our stay. He was always polite, professional, and willing to entertain and oblige whenever he could. 3.) GG ensured our transportation to and from the airport was taken care of. This was important to us because we had eight adults and six children (one who needed a car seat), and visiting a country none of us had ever been to, the potential uncertainty of our safety getting to and from the property was concerning- GG made sure we felt comfortable. 4.) Upon our arrival, we were promptly greeted by GG (who helped us gather our many, many, many bags and bring them up to the house (via the many, many steps to get there- which, at first, seemed daunting, but was okay after a day or so). GG gave us the house's history (where he grew up) and provided us with a tour of the amazing setting for which we would stay for about five days.

Family Vacation

VillaGG was an amazing stay with the best host that we could of ask for. The villa spacious, clean and beautiful. Only a few steps from the beach and conveniently situated near a mini mart. GG was everything you could ever want out of a gracious host. Delicious breakfast every morning and had a private dinner waiting for us when we arrived. We were so impressed we ended up having a second private dinner. GG also set up transportation for our excursions and as well as other recommendations to make sure we got the most out of our stay. Perfect Stay near Split

We were a multigenerational family of 20 people (from age 4 to 82 yrs) and found this villa to be a perfect set up for our group. There was common space for us to gather and the dining table comfortably accommodated all 20 of us. GG was truly an amazing host whose hospitality was unmatched. During the planning stages of our trip, he was so responsive and assured that he would take care of all our requests. He helped arrange private transportation from Dubrovnik to Split for our family in a beautiful and comfortable bus. The villa is a 20 min ride into the heart of Split and he arranged a lot of transportation needs during our stay. It is also easy to do Uber there as well, but we found the private car transportation the most convenient. There was a gorgeous spread of breakfast (probably the best in Split!) every morning that everyone thoroughly enjoyed. GG went above and beyond to assure that our needs were met. We also found it very convenient to have a couple of dinners prepared at the villa by the chef. We also enjoyed the beach which was about a 5 min walk down the road. At sunset, you should also go to the top floor of the villa which provides a beautiful view. We all very much enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this property. Super Fantastic Stay - Super Fantastic Host!

We stayed at Grgo’s beautiful property for 2 weeks, first with a group of friends and then with our family. Our reception on the first day was just a precursor as to what was to come! Grgo welcomed us warmly and had a most-welcome spread of beautiful appetizers and various wines for us to enjoy after a long flight. The house was impeccably clean and beautifully furnished. We enjoyed morning coffee and breakfast (a vast spread of bread, cheeses, homemade pastries and delicious fresh fruit) each morning—-more than enough food to get us on our way. Grgo spared no expense to make sure that our needs were met, from arranging transportation to/from the airport to ensuring that each of our groups had the best possible tour guides to various activities. We enjoyed trips to Krka and Zadar, not to mention a fantastic day on the water, visiting the Blue Cave and the most beautiful island of Hvar (very sophisticated—great shopping). When one of our friends left a bag containing his passport in a taxi, it was Grgo to the rescue—-the bag with passport recovered within an hour!! The dinners were spectacular and Grgo made sure to be sure that any dietary restrictions were met —- our gluten-free guests had a wide choice from which to choose. The ladies and staff, including a terrific chef, were absolutely top-notch, always friendly and helpful. I can’t say enough about the house—-we all had plenty of room to be together and also room to be apart when someone needed to work or just have a little “me” time. All in all, I can’t recommend this property or Grgo any more highly—-he will ensure that your vacation is one that you’ll never forget! We’re already looking forward to returning!

Incredible Mediterranean property

We had a group of 18 friends and family members visiting Split for a week, this villa was an absolutely perfect setup for us to enjoy our time in Croatia. It’s well renovated and beautifully maintained with AC in every room. The views of the Mediterranean from the balconies are stunning. The staff were perfect and I especially recommend booking the chef, it was ideal to just have him grocery shop and prepare breakfast and dinner for everyone at the villa. The dining room table on the first floor accommodated up to 22 people so it was prefect.

Absolutely fabulous!

The house is amazing and perfect for a larger group. Ivo could not have taken better care of us. Best host you can wish for. He knows all the spots and got all the connections. The house is literally 6 min walk from the beach and a short cab ride to split. Our trip coincided with the pandemic but Gg and Ivo could not have made us feel more safe and welcome. 5 stars through and through. Highly recommend!!!

Amazing!

The property is fabulous. It is exactly as the pictures show. There were 15 of us and we had lots of space. The property is a 20 minute drive into Split town. Ivo was happy to arrange transport but we largely used uber, which was very reasonable. There is a supermarket/bakery at the bottom of the road for the basics. It is also ideally situated beside the beach. The pool area was fabulous and very well maintained. Each floor had everything we needed and there was lots of space for dining. Ivo, our host, where do I begin to describe him. Ivo was the most attentive host, he went over and above in everything he did. He helped us arrange food and drinks for the property, he booked restaurants for us, he picked up pizza and delivered it to the property, he joined us for an evening out and showed us some great bars. He really made the weekend run smoothly. We arrived early and were met by Ivo who had prepared a beautiful reception of meat/cheeses and wine. Ivo sat with us and explained everything we needed to know and insisted that nothing was too much. We will definitely be returning to the property in the future. Thank you so much for a very memorable stay. You have made me a very happy Hen!! x

Perfection

This property is so lovely and perfect for a large group! We had 18 family members from 18 to 82 years old. The views are spectacular. Being a family of chefs the kitchens were well stocked so we could make our fabulous meals. Beds were comfortable, plenty of sheets and towels ! Beautiful pool area! GG and our Host IVo were helpful and accommodating with sightseeing info and more. My son forgot some clothes in his closet when we left and Ivo sent them to him at our next Airbnb. Really over the top! Thanks guys! Highly recommend and hope to come again soon!!!!!

Amazing 🤘🏽

Such an incredible time - we were a group of 22 with friends visiting also and there was so much space for all of us. Photos don’t do the villa justice - it was beautiful. The local area is great, you really don’t need anything else than what’s there. Both Grgo and Ivo are amazing. I hurt my arm before I arrived and they even took my stitches out for me and came to check on me to make sure everything was okay. They were so helpful with sorting activities , some of us took a boat trip which was amazing - highly recommend. They organised restaurant bookings too - really couldn’t ask for more. Really chilled , loved it. The holiday blues are real.

Villa GG

We can’t say enough good things about our stay at villa GG. Grgo the owner and Ivo our host couldn’t have been more gracious and helpful. The villa is spectacular and perfect for large gatherings. The views are incredible and we are a Very short walk from the beach, restaurants and the market. I highly recommend this villa and allowing them to help plan excursions for your group. My kids are already asking when we can go back!

The property was perfect for our family, there were nine of us. We actually had bedrooms not used. It’s a beautiful location & house. The only problem we had is very few people took credit cards in their shops & restaurants. They only take Kuna, we were running back & forth to bank machines. Yet all was worth it to see this beautiful country & house was absolutely fabulous. Ivo, the house manager was wonderful! He was there at all times & I assure you we were texting him a lot. Thanks Ivo. Thanks Grgo for letting us stay in your lovely home, also for coming by to check on me. Fantastic trip...

Wonderful villa - way more than we ever expected!

Villa was better than the pictures! And the concierge service was out of this world! Anything we needed was at our fingertips immediately. We loved Split - plenty to do. I highly recommend the vacation package- you will see and experience things you cannot do on your own. You cannot go wrong with this property!! This was a dream trip.
