Blokhutten in Pioneertown

'I was slightly disappointed with my stay this time around. I had stayed at this property a few years ago and remembered having a better experience. Unfortunately, the property now seems to be in need of some maintenance and updating. The exterior paint was noticeably worn in several areas, and both the sink and bathtub had visible staining. Our cabin overall felt a bit dated and could benefit from some updates and general upkeep. I had been looking forward to returning, so it was disappointing...

'Nice little cabin located in a quite area of big Bear.'

'My son and I just wanted a night away - to spend time together and to check out the stars and planets with his new telescope. Hartsville did NOT disappoint! We had so much fun and literally ran out of time with all the great things in store. I felt like I was zapped back in time to the 1970's (or further!). The location was easy to find, safe to park and gain access, and from the get-go we simply enjoyed ourselves. We played pool - 8-ball and 9-ball, sifted through and played the many LP's...

'Amazing get-away retreat, everything was perfect and we had an absolutely relaxing experience. Will definitely return in the future!'

'Cutest little cabin, very homie, very quiet, perfect for a family with littlest, kids loved it happy there was a playground, our puppy enjoyed the backyard and pine cones 🤗 had everything we needed'

'Overall great stay and experience, nothing bad to say about this place will go again the check in time wish it was more earlier and check out is very early but great cabin and area.'

'It was very clean! Full fridge, heating/AC was very easy to navigate. They provided soap and a sample of shampoo and conditioner. I wouldn’t say these were negatives just more annoyances that’s why I still give them 5 stars - the handle for the shower kept slipping off so it was hard to maneuver the hot and cold and turning on and off, the shower liner was rusted and stained and the shower head was built up with timescale so the water pressure was low. The TV remote in bedroom didn’t work, so...

'Be aware, the house across the street is associated with the owner and the residents there are constantly on their balcony watching the rental house, standing at their screen doors staring into the rental property for hours on end trying to see what was going on with our cabin, then after taking our UberEATS order that was inadvertently left on their porch, the residents were yelling at us and had created a hostile environment, it is a large heavy set man (constantly vaping and staring out from...

'Loved everything about this cabin. Great location and very family and kid friendly. Will be adding on list of places to return to!!'
