Staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but are getting a bit tired. The wifi worked well in the lobby area, but was too weak to work in our room. Our room was very close to the lobby so some work is needed for better wifi. Breakfast was great with a variety of items to choose from. Pleasant stay overall.

Nice and clean stay
It was not easy to understand the young man at the reception. When we arrived late I had to wait in the cold for a while until the door was unlocked (even though I had been recognized after I knocked) Besides that, everybody was friendly, rooms were clean, breakfast was great, breakfast area was tidy and clean. The lobby where the breakfast was served was decent and appeared clean. But my pet room (have a small dog) wasn't vacuumed and needed dusting. There was clearly a pet odor. The desk chair was greatly chewed on. The bedding and towels looked like they could use more laundry time. There are signs all over, that the business cares about the environment, so perhaps they use some type of laundry soap that is considered environmentally better, but does a poor job of really cleaning the items. The room was at street level and faced a very busy street, so needless to say, it was noisy and heavy traffic occurred all night.

Evening staff was friendly / I had requested a main level room, but was not given one. May not have had one available?? I didn’t ask. Cleanliness seemed a little off. Stairs needed vacuumed. Room seemed decent in terms of cleanliness, although I question if sheets were clean. Beds had a noticeable wear pattern in them. This is the second time I have stayed at a Baymont in SD and wasn’t overly impressed. Last place was a Baymont in Hot Springs, SD. Not sure how that location maintained it’s Flag.

This was a dump!!! Heat base board was on full blast when we got there, room was 95 degrees. Then it would not stay on. Pet friendly but nowhere to let dog out have to walk a couple blocks for grass. To top it all off OUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER WAS STOLEN! The only place we used it was the hotel and we came home Saturday, there are charges on there for today, 600 miles away! DO NOT STAY HERE! DUMP WITH PEOPLE WHO STEAL

I appreciate you taking time to provide me with the details of your stay. Upon looking at your reservation, you stayed with us for two nights, with a pet fee. I can see no charges that were fraudulently taken off of your credit card, the booking originated with a third party, to whom you paid. The only charges we made to your card were the pet fees. Please call me directly at the hotel if you want to discuss this further, I would be glad to provide you with a detailed folio showing your charges. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with the heat in your room, your concerns have been passed on to the appropriate staff.
