B&B in Picardië

'After a major misunderstanding with our booking, the gentleman managed to resolve the issue with us. He was very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay, and he kindly served us a really good breakfast, which we greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, our experience with the lady was very different. We arrived quite late, and she was downstairs arguing and shouting very loudly. The situation was uncomfortable and quite upsetting, especially as I was travelling with three small children who...

'It was a quaint, roomy bed and breakfast spot. With kitchenette and stocked breakfast items- bread, butter, cheeze, sausages, apples, milk and a fruit punch juice. Ideal for a one night layover from the airport. Location: 20- 25 minutes walking to large church and free museum. Other than that, not much else to do in area without a vehicle. Rural and rustic feel. I just wanted to head into Paris.'

'No room! - after a long drive of 7 hrs and hard work we wanted to sleep in this b&b. Only for a few hours, but when we arrived all the rooms were full. After trying to reach the owner for several times he finally came. And simply said he had no room left. No excuse, no nothing. And more or less urged us to go. Where to at 8.30 p.m.? He didn't feel our need at all, no sympathy. Then he came up with a friend who owns a studio. This was 100,- euros p/n, after asking he gaves us the money of our...

'Avec un petit dejeuner formidable!'

'We waren aangenaam verrast van het gezellige en comfortabel verblijf. Zeker een aanrader! Leuk pluspunt is de stalling van de fietsen. '

'In our last minute quest to find a place to stay to cut our trip to the south in half, we accidentally stumbled upon this gem. After driving down the long driveway through the beautiful large garden we were welcomed by the friendly hostess and her staff and directed to our room, which was located on the first floor in the annex of the château. The room was very comfortable and attractively decorated, with lovely high ceilings and a lot of charm to it. Everything was very nice and clean. The...

'Mooi ruim appartement bovenop het plateau en tegenover Kathedraal. Terrasje voor de deur van het restaurant dus een drankje en hapje kan goed bij de locatie. Een koffie automaat met genoeg cupjes op de kamer dus erg fijn. Lekkere rainshower en apart toilet. Parkeren kan vlakbij dus maar klein stukje lopen.'

'Great stay in this Chateau. The atmosphere is just great. I booked to go to Sial/Villepin, so north of Paris which is within 30 min drive. Worked out well, because traffic is pretty bad going into Paris. I booked the suite. First room I booked which had a pool table! Lot's of space and many nice looking old pieces of furniture and accessoires. You could feel the attention and proud. Breakfast was great. More than enough and served in a very nice room. Staff is the owner and one other person, so...
