The house was great for a group—we had 8 friends in our late 40s, so having so many beds was great because we all got our own beds! The outdoor space was lovely, so we spent lots of time in the sun and hot tub. If you plan to do a lot of cooking, just know the layout of the kitchen (fridge and sink on one side of the large room, and stove on the other, with the dining table in between) might be frustrating, but you’re on vacation, why are you cooking?? that said, the kitchen had what we needed and we made breakfast and plenty of snacks with no issues. We also liked that we could walk on the canal path, which was really close, and there are some nice food spots within walking distance. Camelback mountain hike (difficult but highly recommended) was a 7 min drive and we went into Scottsdale twice for dinner, which is a short drive or uber away. All in all, a great house for a group trip.
