Beautiful House and Location

Four adults had a fabulous stay while attending several Dodgers Spring Training games. Only a five minute drive to Camelback Ranch in a quiet neighborhood. Owner and neighbor are very nice and helpful. Unbelievable view of backyard lake and waterfowl. Highly recommend this rental. Would love to stay again in the future.

Spring Training visit

We had a fantastic stay at this house. House was as pictured on the website. Nice neighborhood that felt safe. The property is at the end of a cul-de-sac with the back yard adjacent a water-way, so we had ducks and geese as visitors. Also a wonderful lemon tree in the back yard - bursting with fruit that we could use! It was great not to have another house or property right behind you. It was quiet when sitting outside at night on the patio. Next door neighbors were very nice. Manager Marcella was informative and a joy to speak with if we had any questions. It was perfect for our stay!

Home away from home

We stayed at this beautiful home for almost 5 weeks. Our host, Marcy, was AMAZING. She was so kind and considerate and understanding of anything that came up. She was quick to respond and always willing to provide help or answers. The home itself has everything you could need. The beds are comfortable, the layout is all one level which made it so easy for my Mom with her walker. We enjoyed sitting outside in the backyard or playing cards at the table in the front yard. There were plenty of options for television viewing. We were so fortunate to get to know some of the neighbours and they were absolutely AMAZING too. We hope we will have the opportunity to come back to this property again.

Christmas with the Family

This was a Christmas vacation to visit our family from out West. We couldn’t have been any more pleased with the overall property. There’s two full living areas and the outdoor seating along with the lake views and waterfowl made sitting outside an even greater joy. The entire family kept mentioning over and over how peaceful it was to just sit outside and watch and listen to nature. If you’re looking for a great location this home has it all. For the family, the neighborhood has walking and biking lanes and there’s a family park about 7-8 minutes walk around the corner. There’s grocery stores and dining all within an easy 5-7 minute drive and there’s the amazing Westgate Entertainment Center across the street from the Stadium, a Tangier Outlet and even a Casino all within a 12-15 minute drive on the surface streets. Plus one of the best things about this place was how pleasant it was to work with the home owner. She’s so attentive and was always just a simple text or call away to see if our needs were being met. The neighbors all around are gems too, so be sure to wave and say hello. You’ll be sure to love this place. Don’t let this stop pass you by, we’re already planning our next family Christmas here ourselves.

Lovely home on a lake

The home was very nicely decorated, it was clean and smelled good when we walked in. Everything looked the same as the photos. The location was ideal for us. Everything we needed was there. The decor was eclectic. Something you would see in a design magazine. The only problem with that is the furniture was not designed for comfort. We enjoyed the lakefront.

Winter getaway

We traveled from the Midwest to get away from the cold and had a beautiful stay at the home. It was clean and we thoroughly enjoyed the patio and back yard. The lake was calm and we even saw a bald eagle fish for his dinner.

Wonderful Getaway

Wife and I love to visit Phoenix once a year just to get a way from Los Angeles for a few days. This year we stayed at Marcy's home and loved ever moment of our stay. The location of the home is close enough to the freeways to easily get around the city. Markets and places to eat are nearby as well. The backyard was a highlight for us. Being in December the weather allowed us to comfortably sit out in the backyard and enjoy the large amount of shoreline. My family plans on coming back next year. Thanks again!

Avondale Resort

It was like a home away from home but even better. Her neighbors are wonderful sweet people. The grounds were well kept as well as the home and the interior design was something to behold her communication. Walking through the front door into the home took my breath away. It was so roomy and beautifully decorated. The two bedrooms are located at opposite ends of the house with their own bathrooms. Most of my indoor time was spent in the kitchen/TV room which was spacious. Everything worked properly...….especially the juicer which I used every day to juice the oranges on the tree. I had over a months worth of fresh OJ while I was there. And there's a lemon tree which gave me 2 lemons to enjoy with my nightly cocktails out on the dock chatting with the various pontooners on their nightly parade of the lake. Great walking trails with my dog who made a great guard of the yard against the various waterfowl that dared to venture up onto our grass. Since I was here during the Covid-19 crisis I didn't get to enjoy the restaurants and various activities in town, I headed up into the parks and nearby mountains for hiking, hiking, and more hiking and biking.
