« This property was the perfect location for our family. The house was clean. Everything was wonderful and we really enjoyed our stay. Hoping to stay there in years to come for other trips, we take to the area »

« Bear Cottage is our Happy Place. From the rustic cottage, to the beautiful lake, the animals, fowl, reptiles to the everything nature it is perfect on all levels. A it if futhings to do in the area including hiking, swimming at other lakes ( we do lake chasing), waterfall casing ( so any to see), horseback riding at theGrassyCreek ranch, farmers markets, flea markets……. Hosts are amazing! »

« There's not much to say that I haven't said previously. We absolutely love this place. My wife and I stay here several weeks throughout the year and we're never disappointed. Great location, responsive host, and amazing views. It's the best deal around and also pet-friendly. »

« Very quiet and clean. Very nice size. Well supplied. Close to town. Not right on lake but just a short walk down the hill. We stayed there end of September. »

« A visit to the Northwoods is always refreshing. My dog and I stayed here for 5 nights in August and had a wonderful experience. The pre-stay communication with the owner was very prompt and detailed with all questions answered. I had a special request for some health needs I have, and she graciously made sure all was ready for me upon arrival. Check-in was easy and the cabin itself was sparkling clean and inviting. The wooded surroundings were so relaxing and I loved the fire pit and comfy patio...

« Perfect for the two nights we needed. We were supposed to be camping with our young kids and due to severe storms pulled an audible last minute. »

« We had a great week at the cabin. Stayed with my wife, daughter, son-in-law, our two young granddaughters, and our dog. The cabin was great and had a perfect feeling of a traditional cabin with all the modern amenities . Property was nicely secluded and the lake was quiet most of the time. We enjoyed the SUP’s they had there as well as the kayaks and canoe. Fishing off the pier was great and we (our grand daughters) caught tons of pan fish. »

« Just what you would expect in a North woods cabin. Knotty pine on the walls and a beautiful view of the woods. Check in was easy and communication was great. Kitchen had all the gadgets we needed to make meals. »

« This vacation home was super clean, comfortable, very nicely furnished with modern finishes. We loved sitting on the deck (no bugs!) and looking out over the water. We saw multiple eagles every day. One eagle hung out in a tree by the waterfront. There is deer all over this neighborhood and we saw multiple deer every day as well. The loons calling to each other completed the "up north" experience. This home is out of town but so close to town it was very convenient to run to the store or...
