« It was a very disappointing experience staying at this property. There was a full-day power outage, with no lights, hot water, or internet at the campsite. The front desk was also very difficult to reach. At around 9 PM at night without electricity, I was told that if I left immediately, I could receive a full refund. « The room was very pleasant but was disappointed to find out that the main bit of the building was entirely closed to all. All that was open was a diner and a small store, but the iconic lobby and bar with the brook was totally closed. We just felt we had been misold if we're honest for not informing us of the major renovations that they would clearly have known about at the time of booking. Otherwise, the separate accommodation blocks were fine. »
