Before the guest arrives at the hotel, a generic pre-arrival email is sent out to the guest explaining the car parking cost. Most hotel in the city doesn't provide free car parking. Pre-authorisation on the card is standard procedure when staying at the hotel, and the banking process time depends on the bank.
