The cottage is located in a lovely hilly region (3 rivers) offering numerous sports and cultural activities: extreme sports (water skiing, bungee jumping, race track), hiking trails (one of which passes right by the cottage), Romanesque (Poitiers, Saint-Savin, etc.) and medieval art (Chauvigny), and wildlife (monkeys in Romagne, birds of prey in Chauvigny, crocodiles in Civaux).
