'Newly refurbished rooms were really nice, comfortable and well equipped. The hotel is also a bar/pub/restaurant. We ate at the restaurant and the food was decent. There was entertainment in the evening which was loud and we were concerned that it might disturb our sleep, but once back in the room, we couldn’t hear it. There is unrestricted public parking opposite the hotel.'

'Heerlijk verblijf van 4 dagen gehad in The Lion. kamer precies genoeg wat nodig is. Prachtige gerenoveerde badkamer. ben zelf alleen geen bad-liefhebber, had liever een gewone douche gehad. Volgende keer bij een boeking niet vergeten het als voorkeur aan te geven. Ontbijt uitstekend! Ook 2 diners genoten en was heerlijk. Vriendelijk personeel, gezellige bar, veel en gratis parkeerplaats om de hoek '
