'This is a fantastic VRBO property. The access and views of the beach and Lake Superior is stunning and relaxing. 'The property needs some "Finishing touches" to be an excellent one. A headboard on the master bed, adult size life preservers if you are going to have kayaks and paddle boards for use on Lake Superior, a kitchen faucet that doesn't leak all over the countertop and a water filtration system that can remove tannins. The water is gross! '

'This property was ideal to accommodate our large group of friends and children for a reunion of MTU classmates. The house is HUGE so no one felt crowed. The basement had lots of fun games to keep our teenage children occupied. Some of the furniture has definitely seen better days, but everything was very clean. It was easy walking distance to both downtown Hancock and Houghton. I would definitely request to stay again if staying in the area with a large group.'

'Thank you for this beautiful location in the UP. Love the little extras like the microwave popcorn and coffee. Beds were comfy and the view of the lake and park were amazing. While we did not spend much time inside we would stay again while visiting MTU. '

'Property was as advertised. Rustic and a lot of time went into all the bear nick nacks and bear themed items around the cabin. I would love to have this place. The highway can be a little noisy at times as other people have stated. But I signed up knowing it was there. Beach area has concrete steps that are uneven getting to beach. Just adds to the charm.'
