'I loved everything about Rose Arden. I had a very comfortable overnight stay in a single room in a lovely home that was perfect for my visit with an old friend who lived nearby. It was great value and in a beautiful quiet location with an amazing view. The host couldn't have been more helpful. And the breakfast was wonderful. If I visit Hamilton again I’ll definitely want to stay at Rose Arden.'

'Excellent location, spacious accommodation, parking was easy. Excellent gastropub at the bottom of the building. Great area with excellent bars and restaurants. Delightful.'

'Disappointed with our room. Only 1 bottle of water left in room, should be 2. Shampoo dispenser place in tub, that fell off the wall. Shampoo and conditioner bottles empty and not filled up. For the price, more attention to detail is needed.'

'I did like the location of this hotel. it was right downtown Hamilton. Very near the Jackson Square mall. And it has a (expensive) parking garage. And some of the staff where very nice,polite and helpfull. But that was about it in a positive way. Now for the downsides: They don't accept cash, till you say: I only have cash... A hotel is not a car rental. Hotels should accept cash. Period. There are only 2 elevators for 16 floors. Very long waiting time for the elevators. Imagine when 1 elevator...

'This is a very tired hotel, the hallways had a very unpleasant odour. We did not have body wash in the shower and were told to come get it for ourselves, I would not recommend to others.'

'On paper the location of the Inn seemed decent. As my cab pulled up to the drop off area there were two people sitting on the ground next to the doorway, they appeared to be intoxicated. Someone knocked on my door during the night and tried to unlock the door. Not the best experience I've had at a hotel.'

'Beautiful hotel, very spacious and clean. We booked for a girls night and found the pool to be a highlight and it wasnt busy on a Saturday morning. I do wish they offered group rates and availabilities for their spa for people who are staying there. They also didn't have space for us at breakfast in their restaurant despite several open tables (again, should be given some priority as a guest who is staying there). Overall very beautiful waterfront property however, could be doing better with...

'Nice hotel at a convenient location next to the highway exit. Immediate surroundings are nothing interesting. Swimming pool was nice for our morning swim sessions. In the room, i knocked my head multiple times in the shower point. '

'Motel is in a run down part of town. Bed was comfortable. The motel is pretty well worn. It was cheapest place around half way near Toronto.'
