'Beautiful land and venue with great location! Absolutely loved those aspects and would’ve given it more stars if there were no concerns. The only issues we had were regarding cleanliness (a very strong mold smell resulting from a kitchen sink leak in the cabinet below) and pest infestations in the kitchen. Both were communicated to the property manager who advised they relayed them to the owners. We made it work as we weren’t at the house much at all, but it would have been very nice to receive...

'Breakfast was very minimal. Towels were old and thin. Walls were very thin ..could hear Grandpa cussing at the grandkids and Grandma telling them to shut up well past 11:30. Not staying here again. Everything else was okay '

'This was a great choice of place to stay while we visited French Lick for my birthday weekend. Just a 10 min or less drive to the casino and lots of good restaurant choices. Friendly staff, clean rooms, and when we were first unloading our suitcases in the room we noticed the smoke alarm was chirping every minute needing new batteries. My husband went down to the desk and she gave us a different room right away. Breakfast was full buffet and the kitchen staff was very attentive keeping fresh...

'The room was large with many amenities (kitchen, large bathroom and shower, microwave and refrigerator and dining room table), but the room was not very clean. There were cobwebs in the window. There were dead bugs on the floor. The floor under the bed was filthy. The furniture was old and definitely needs to be updated. For example, the bed had a dip in the middle. The underside of the bed was hanging down to the floor. The metal pieces in the bathroom were rusted.'

'This was the perfect place to get away, relax on the porch overlooking a special spot in the creek, and play in the water. We watched movies on VHS, listened to cds, and cooked our meals. We had everything we needed, felt safe and welcomed, and left recharged. Definitely returning!'
