'We stayed 6 nights in one of the rooms overlooking the beautiful white sand beach which is definitely worth the extra cost. You are literally about 25 metres from the sea. Hotel is only a few years old so everything is in pretty good condition. Our room was spacious with double and single beds and walk in shower. Excellent quiet air con. Mini fridge. Kettle. Complimentary toiletries. Robes and slippers. Excellent breakfast buffet. Very good service. Sun loungers at beach (with drinks service) ...

'Upon arrival we were greated warmheartedly by the staff. The room was clean and spacious and the bed was great as well. During our stay the staff was super friendly and very accommodating and attentive to our needs (e.g. booked tuk tuks, rented a scooter etc. for us within minutes). Overall the experience was great and would definitely recommend staying at the Bathala Resort.'

'Modala was beautiful. There are many hotels in Bohol, but I'm so glad we chose this one. The pool and beach are pristine and quiet, and we loved the shopping area attached to the hotel, with good restaurants, cafes, and lovely shops for souvenirs and handmade jewelry. The hotel restaurant was excellent, and the buffet breakfast was extensive and featured local delicacies from Bohol - something new every morning. The staff were so gracious and accommodating.
