Sandy beaches can be found less than 3 miles away in Paignton, offering seaside entertainment and locally caught food. Slightly further afield is the historic town of Dartmouth (10 miles): hop onboard the Ferry from Kingswear and cross the River Dart and visit a range of attractions, including Dartmouth Castle, Britannia Royal Naval College, and the Dartmouth Steam Railway. If the countryside is your haven, Dartmoor National Park is 12 miles away and has an abundance of tranquil walks and scenery ready to explore.
