'It was ok to sleep there for one night. The rooms could use some renovation. The beds and the bathroom were clean. Communication was good! '

'This was a lovely place to stay, the room was nice and we had a balcony. The view of the city was beautiful. The staff were friendly and they offered complimentary coffee ☕️ Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.'

'Locatie ligt net buiten Brisbane, maar wel dichtbij het vliegveld. De naam Shangri La doet vermoeden dat het aan de grote keten verbonden is, maar dit lijkt een onafhankelijke uitbater te zijn. Het interieur van de kamer is wat gedateerd, maar wel schoon. En gratis parkeren voor de deur is een pre. Het gratis ontbijt, stelt niet heel veel voor, maar wel prettig om iets te hebben in de ochtend voor vertrek als je vroeg bij het vliegveld moet zijn. Op de locatie zelf is niet veel te doen, wel...

'The area is beautiful. The people who own the hotel are wonderful, and it was so lovely to wake up to the sounds of birds. The room was cleaned and had everything I needed. Thank you!'

'My mother and I really enjoyed our stay at Hawthorne. The property was very clean with lovely decor and a fantastic sized television. Having the park behind the property was great for our early morning walk and a short stroll to the local shops was also very handy. The only downfall was the side entrance to the property which had uneven paving. That became a little daunting for my elderly mother. Having said that we would definitely stay there again. '
