Only thing I didnât like was there wasnât a microwave in the room as well as the cord to bring my blinds up was broken so I was stuck with not being able to get any natural light in room but I tell you the Lady at the front Shane is best front desk receptionist Iâve ever had , going out her way to pick my girlfriend up at night even though the shuttle was technically down for the night . I can go on and on about her I tell you but she is the best and she needs a raise , letâs keep it at that :)
The employees were not as professional as they should have been. The property staff had a much too casual and informal approach and the front desk always had a sign that they had stepped away. The laundry room was out of order. The keypad entry from the rear door was non operational for part of the time. The bathtub was very slippery and I almost fell. I had to use a towel to line the bottom.
Our bathroom was stocked with limited towels. No one at the counter when we arrived but was able to call and get someone. Pool room was horrible. VERY, VERY hot and muggy in there. We didn't swim because of it. Handle to the back door was broken and we had a hard time getting in from the parking lot.
Overall however, it was a good location for the airport and getting around the city. Staff was kind. Breakfast was decent.
The hotel is close to the airport yet I donât remember hearing planes (quiet). It is also close to Schwab Field. Thereâs a convenience store and restaurant (Perkins) within walking distance. The hotel and property was clean. The front desk staff were so nice and accommodating as were the shuttle drivers. They provided a shuttle to and from Schwab Field and the airport which was greatly appreciated. We did not need a vehicle the four days we were there! The only reason I gave 4 stars was for breakfast and the lack of a microwave in the room. Itâs nice to have a fridge but it would be nice to have a microwave to heat leftovers in. The dining room had a good selection of food each morning but it was barely warm. Even the âhotâ water carafe was barely warm. Again, a microwave in this area as well would allow guests to heat the food to their liking. Would definitely stay here again.
I was profoundly disappointed. The room booked is not the room I was given. We were 2, had booked 2 queen beds and was given 1 king. I spent an hour sorting it out, the desk blamed Expedia, and despite assurance of a discounted rate, I was charged a rate $50 MORE than my booked rate. As I write I am awaiting a refund. Very unhappy.
Internet did not work. Elevators did not work. Had to walk up 3 flights of stairs. Câmon!
At least either give a discount or a free bottle of water out of your concern.

Our stay was good. A storm damaged the elevator so we had to climb stairs to our room on the fourth floor. I am 67 and my husband is 77 with a bad knee. The next day a very sweet girl in house keeping helped us with our luggage when we were leaving. Her name was Cynthia. Her help was greatly appreciated!!
