'My Fourth of July stay at the Red Roof Inn Hilton Head Island was extremely disappointing. The room was unsanitary, with blood on the curtains and dirty diapers left outside. To make matters worse, the Wi-Fi, which was an advertised amenity, did not work at all. Since I work remotely, that alone made the room unusable. I immediately contacted Expedia for a refund because the room was not in acceptable condition and did not provide the amenities I paid for. Instead of resolving the issue, I've...

'Excellent location. Just minutes walking to the beach. Rooms are sufficiently sized. Breakfast is from 6am to 10am and includes a variety of bagels, yogurt, cereal/granola, hard boiled eggs, fruits, fruit juice and coffee. There is swimming pool with towels. The only thing to caution is that the property charges $10 per night parking in their premises. This was in the fine print and not explicitely disclosed during the booking.'

'The bathroom was not what was displayed online. We did not get master tub and the shower filled up past our ankles when showering. It would not drain unless water off. Also the bathroom door was damaged and would not close all the way, there was a large crack where u can see in. No true privacy. The resort itself was nice but room not as expected or worth the price.'
