Vind je ideale hotel in Okunikko

'This may be my all time favorite of all the hotels I’ve stayed at! It’s maybe not for everyone but it oozes history and it felt like stepping back in time. The staff is really wonderful and were amazing. The beds super comfortable and the room had an amazing view of the river and mountains. If you’re a nostalgist like me you won’t be disappointed. '

'Zeer goede ontvangst, correcte hulp bij het inchecken, onsen was exact wat het moest zijn, proper, luxueus en ontspannend. Eten was van hoog niveau, zowel 's ochtends als 's avonds.'

'Everything was excellent, from caring staff, property condition and food. Please note that there is no lift, but they take your bags up and down (2-4 floors). Free coffee/tea in their cafe/bar. Onsen was also very good. Room was spacious and we were allowed an early check-in. Highly recommended if you are visiting Chuzengi. Take care driving up the winding road during winter.'

'De kamer was netjes. De futons zijn een beetje dun. Er worden weinig handoeken gegeven (1 per persoon) en er moet worden bijbetaald voor meer handoeken. Het ontbijt is vrij basic.'

'Prima plaats voor overnachting in Nikko op 10 minuten lopen van de shrines. Kamer zonder douche/wc maar private bath beschikbaar. Vriendelijke ontvangst en uitleg. '

'I loved our huge room with private balcony onsen and the Japanese design of the room. Very friendly staff. Breakfast and dinner were really good and for us more than sufficient in quantity. They have a rotating set of 3 different dinners, so day 4 = day 1, but for us that was fine. Bed was a bit on the hard side but I got used to it.'

'Very comfortable stay on the futon - it was lovely to hear the waterfalls from our room. Location was lovely - bit of a walk from the main town of Nikko, but it was fine for us! The staff were charming and so helpful.'

'This cottage is absolutely wonderful! The warm welcome by Yoshiko, the pick-up and drop off at the train station. Great breakfast and tons of tips about sightseeing in Nikko and public transportation. Yoshiko was always ready to help and check if she could do anything for us. This really made our Japan and Nikko experience complete.'

'It's a small lovely hotel. The staffs are nice but they dont speak much English. If you need pick up at train station, call them ahead. They dont answer emails or dont often check messages thru 3rd party. We booked thru Expedia, sent multiple messages, waited for 2 months, no responded. Luckily my cousin was in Tokyo for 3 months of work and she called the hotel for me. Many thanks to the driver. He waited for us at train station very late at night. The food was very good.
