'Verzorgd en mooi klassiek hotel. De kamer was erg schoon en ruim. Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam en het ontbijt was fijn. Wij hebben bijzonde genoten van de onsen die al bij de prijs in zat!'

'I loved our huge room with private balcony onsen and the Japanese design of the room. Very friendly staff. Breakfast and dinner were really good and for us more than sufficient in quantity. They have a rotating set of 3 different dinners, so day 4 = day 1, but for us that was fine. Bed was a bit on the hard side but I got used to it.'

'This property was beautiful, I wish I could have stayed longer. Great kitchen, spa room with bath, everything you needed and everything felt brand new. Location was a bit out of town and was either a bus, taxi or a long walk uphill. This was my favorite property in Japan. I would definitely stay longer next time. '

'The hotel is old, it gives the feeling you've travelled back in time. We booked the hotel to experience classic room with futon beds. The view from the room was very nice. Breakfast / dinner buffet was fine. The room came with kimono / yukata and quite a lot of people were wearing them in the restaurant too. We had a non-smoking room. The room smelled a bit, but this is just from wooden materials in the room in combination with the hot weather. It certainly did not smell like someone had...
