The sandy beaches of Saksild are among the best in Denmark and with their shallow waters and fine sand are ideal for families with children. Pretty landscapes and idyllic villages beckon in the nearby area, such as the charming waterfront town of Norsminde, where you can enjoy an ice cream at the harbor. The city of Aarhus with its many museums, stores and restaurants is also within easy reach and certainly worth a visit.
