    Family wedding celebration

    Chris made this such a memorable trip. He was in constant contact with me months prior to my stay. As our stay got closer I needed to add an additional day, he was able to provide it. The house was perfect, it was well stocked with extras. All of the beds were very comfortable. My grandkids loved the play set and the trampoline. The views of the water were relaxing especially with coffee in the morning.Looking forward to staying here again.

    A wonderful family vacation

    We had an incredible stay at this house. Exactly as advertised and perfect for kids. We used everything from the trampoline to the kayaks to the fire pit. The beds were comfortable, there was plenty of room for everyone and we really felt like we were home. We would highly recommend.

    Second Stay Just As Incredible As The First

    Chris' house is an amazing gem. It is beautiful, well maintained, and well stocked with everything that you could want/need e.g., coffee, laundry, kitchen basics, firepit stuff. All the amenities (e.g., kayaks, jacuzzi, firepit) are awesome. I kayaked every morning, which was a zen experience. It'a perfect setup for a family of 6 like mine... a parents room, a boys room, and a girls room. We all love it here and would stay here on every vacation if we could.

    Exceptional house and host

    This house was absolutely perfect for our family of 8 (6 adults, 1 child, 1 dog)— plenty of water toys, patio/backyard activities and indoor games + amenities to enjoy in a beautiful big house right on the water with amazing views. Chris is honestly the best host I’ve ever encountered— doesn’t miss a detail with the pre-stocked complimentary drinks and snacks, a very useful house guide with a handy list of restaurant and activity recos and fully stocked kitchen, bathroom toiletries, plenty of towels, etc... the works. He went above and beyond— he let us use his boat slip and gave us a map with all the good fishing and kayaking spots and even offered us a complimentary early check-in which was a huge (unexpected) convenience for my family flying in from TX. Everyone was really happy and we can’t wait to come back!

    A blast for little kids

    We rented this home for a 5 day holiday weekend. We had young kids with us who said they wanted to stay forever! They loved the trampoline. We grilled, made fires, played in the hot tube and had so much fun. The place is exactly as pictured (and the view is better). Thanks for a great weekend!

    Graduation and family Vacation

    What a perfect house to stay for a family vacation! So many fun activities and a great place to gather to celebrate our USMMA Graduation! The amenities and extras were so nice and the Host went above and beyond to provide an extremely clean and comfortable home for our family of 7. Favorite part was watching the birds and boats from either deck!

    Such an Amazing Property and Experience in Oceanside

    This was one of the best experiences I've had with VRBO, the owner was very welcoming and offered a lot of suggestions including Kollner's Meats, South Shore Brewery and some seafood spots. The knives were sharp and grill was clean so between the grilling, kayaks, hot tub, and fire pit we barely needed to leave the property. It's a beautiful spot on channel that I'd love to return to in the future. Thanks for setting us up for a great weekend!

    Simply amazing... the reality is even better than the photos!

    Wow! We just got back from a week staying at Chris' magnificent house. What a gem! We're a family of 6 (4 kids aged 11-18), and we fit perfectly in the 3 bedrooms (a parents room, a boys room, and a girls room, with a trundle bed in each kids room). Everything was immaculately clean, and all the amenities were in great shape. We used everything... I kayaked every morning... my daughter loved reading (and napping) on the swing chairs... we trampolined, fire pitted, jacuzzi'ed. It is so beautiful and peaceful at this property, with vast views of mostly untouched nature. It was really helpful to have a great, large, fully equipped washer and dryer upstairs by the bedrooms... also a modern well stocked kitchen... it really felt like home (if our home was on a gorgeous waterfront). Chris was incredibly accommodating, offering to help plan for my mom, who has trouble with stairs, to visit (she came most days and had a great time taking in the views). He was always available to answer my questions, and was great about every detail. He even shared some yellowfin tuna that he caught, which was AMAZING! I only hope the property is available in the future... everybody in my family is dying to come back!

    July 4th weekend

    We stayed at Chris’s house for a 4th of July weekend. We enjoyed it thoroughly. All was in order when we arrived and Chris was very helpful before, during and after our stay. It is a nice house with many amenities, nicely located by the water and an ideal location for the several day trips we took. We had no issues nor complaints and would recommend the house to anyone who wants a nice house, close the water and with relaxing views. Thanks Chris for providing us with the opportunity to enjoy your home. Highly recommended.

    Wonderful experience in Oceanside

    We were very pleased with our experience at this property! We had everything we needed for adults and children! We had 4 kids with us, ranging from ages 4-8 and everyone had something to do, especially the trampoline and basketball game! Both of us moms took the kayaks out one morning, and we all enjoyed the fire pit and some s’mores! Couldn’t beat the view - each morning we drank our coffee and each evening some wine on the back deck! We were very happy with the sleeping and bathroom amenities, and proximity to everything we needed! 😊

    Amazing rental

    We stayed for 2 weeks and this property was absolutely perfect. Just like the pictures show if not better. My daughter loved all the outdoor activities and the view is perfect. Didn’t even feel like I was in New York. We had everything we needed, they supplied us with a lot and even left us a welcome gift :). We will definitely be staying here again next time we come!

    Amazing house!

    Wow – is the first word that comes to my mind when I think about how wonderful this house and our stay was! It’s a beautiful space – open concept & tasteful beach design, with spectacular views of the water from every window. The kitchen was stocked with all dishes needed, and the skillet on the stovetop for morning pancakes was a pleasant surprise. We ate breakfast every day on the back deck – and in the afternoon, enjoyed the hot tub, water toys, and grill. The house also had a fire pit outside, which we very much enjoyed, a basketball hoop, play/swing set, and a netted trampoline in the backyard for the kids. Sleeping accommodations were even better – a king bed in the master, with a porch attached to watch the sunrise. It was the perfect house for our mini vacation – and more than that, only a 15-minute drive to the beach!
