'For a four star hotel... the pool in particular was run down. There are traffic cones around the pool deck, spots where the tiles in the pool are chipped, and the handrail into the hot tub is wobbly. On the bright side, the bed was super comfy, and I enjoyed doing the yoga on the beach that is included in the resort fee.'

'I always go to this hotel right after I arrive in Kauai. It’s a wonderful place to drop your luggage and sleep. It’s not fancy, but it’s clean.'

'The beds, staff, and taxi to the airport (10$) was nice. The room was clean, but no curtains (wake up early). The other guests were loud, fighting and smoking - we Would therefore not stay here again. '

'The Sheraton had an amazing staff. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful with any questions we had. We had a spacious room with a full ocean view. The balconies aren’t very large, so if you’re the person by the wall you’ll only get a pool view. There are two washers and dryers on site, only one of each works and they’re on different floors. They have bikes to rent which is a great option to explore the town. Please make sure you’re comfortable with your bike before leaving the resort. '

'Staff was great. Our AC was not working on a hot July!! They did come and replace it the next day. Responsive. Our ceiling leaked when someone showered. They came to check right away but needs more research to resolve.'

'Amazing hotel almost like in White Lotus. We greatly enjoyed the lagoon. Hawaiian performances in the lobby throughout the day. Poipu beach has many turtles at sun set.'

'Great condos, pool is huge and fun for the kids. The resort does not have a direct beach access (need to walk to the Sheraton- 5mins). The on-site restaurant is ok for breakfast and lunch. Overall nice place.'

'We had the absolute best stay at the Koa Kea. We loved how the resort is on the smaller side, and you can easily walk out of your room and to the pool, beach, or to some nearby businesses (little fish, puka dog, surf shop..). The staff was super friendly and accommodating as well. I also loved being greeted with real leis, chocolate for our honeymoon, and wine in the room when we arrived! The pool bar had some yummy food, and good drinks. The sunrise yoga was fantastic as well. We stayed here...

'We had a good stay at the Point. The staff are friendly and helpful. The apartment was clean and big enough. There is everything you need. The furniture looks outdated, but it have it's charms. The resort looks great and we enjoyed the pool. The kids loved it. The drinks at the pool are good and affordable. We had a beautiful view of the ocean. The location is central to visit al the known tourist sites.We enjoyed our stay and we recommend this resort.'

'We were supposed to get an oceanfront room with 2 queen beds. When we checked in with a lady called Grace, she informed us that all they had was a room with a queen bed and a pull-out sofa bed. Grace informed us that the hotel could change the type of room EVEN THOUGH we had booked a room with 2 queen beds. There was a total lack of empathy and the staff did not even TRY to find us another room. They would not even offer us a refund for providing us with a sub-standard room that we had not...
