Motels in Northern Lower Peninsula

'Cute renovated motel rooms. There was a vintage Magic Chef cookstove that had working burners, there were pots and dishes so we could cook our corn on the cob dinner. Quiet, safe location. Only small thing is that there is a window air conditioner, so if you sleep in the bed by the window then it blows all night right on or over you. If the weather is cooler, this would not be relevant. Bathroom is small but everything works including the shower, good water pressure. Great for an overnight...

'Brio beach in is an amazing find. Great location, gorgeous beach, bonfire pit for cozy summer nights. Also the continental breakfast was a great surprise! The rooms are smaller but updated! Loved my stay!'

'The hallways and stairwell show their age and they do smell old and musty. But the room was immaculate, up-to-date, very comfortable, and refreshing. The bed was so comfortable and pillows were just right. The A/C worked well without being too loud. I will stay here again if I visit Traverse City.'

'The room was small but 2 queen beds fit fine. The chairs in the room were comfy as we sat at the table playing games and watching TV. There was a nice-sized frig and a small microwave in the room. I think the rooms have been remodeled in the past year or two. The WI-FI was fast and didn't drop out. We would definitely stay here again as the cost was reasonable!'

'This inn was lovely - the rooms were comfortable and clean and easy to access. The shared garden space is so well laid out and cozy. It was quiet despite being off of a major road, and it was incredibly easy to get into town. The staff was incredible. We will definitely be coming back in the future.'
