'Tattoga Lake Resort was a great find for us—we needed a dog friendly location but with the restaurant on the property made it outstanding. The owners are very friendly and helpful and the food was a 10+. We stayed in the motel where our room was clean and ample, but we appreciated having easy access to the outdoors was a plus. 'Standard older motel-style place, got a great price. Fairly quiet, clean and comfortable though slightly outdated in our ground floor 2-bed room unit. Beds were very comfortable and good pillows. Had a microwave, fridge, tv, coffee maker, and we brought our own mugs to avoid paper/plastic cups. They had free coffee and tea there. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking our big pickup was a bit tight but doable, lots of people staying there when we were there.'

'For me, I'm lactose intolerance and they would not accommodate making eggs without cheese.
