Lodges in Northeast Side

'Easy access. Close to everything we needed. Airport noise, but we were there for airport access so to be expected. Easy check-in. Secure parking and entering bldg. Comfy beds. Only negative was a less than fresh odor in room, like musty and needing to be aired out.'

'It was close to a lot of Alamo Heights which has lovely shopping and excellent restaurants. It is affordable and clean and adjacent to my favored parts of the city. Those seeking closeness to the SA most famous attractions might find it remote'

'Loved our room, bed was comfortable. The front desk lady wasn’t the kindest . No luggage carts to be found as we looked for hours to bring up a heavy luggage. The lady at the bar was the best as she found a cart for us. Swimming pool hand rail was broken as the hot tub rail which is dangerous. Only 3 lounges in the pool area no chairs. Washer and dryers are in a closet, could definitely have another set on another floor.'

'Very nice owners and clean room. No bugs, no roaches. None. The only bad thing is the pet fee. Staying here a week and they charge $30 a day for two cats. That gets expensive! Our room does not at all smell like cats. My wife got a small mop from the store and mops twice a day to keep everything very clean. We believe it is important to leave a room cleaner than when ypu came. A few other things that were undesirable was some homeless guy running back and fourth on the sidewalk next to the motel...

'We were made 3hrs to check in bc the room was being cleaned, then when we finally got into the room, the floor was filthy, making walking around filthy, the linen was stained, there was no microwave in the room like the amenities stated and our fridge froze everything (the dial was broken). The door latch was loose, the ac was cracked and making odd noises, there were holes all over the room and the tv was damaged as well. We were there for two weeks and had to ask the staff and housekeeping for...

'Only problem we had was with key cards. Walked all the way to.our room and the keys did not work. On the Next set of keys received only one worked.'
