'Booked as a short stay for our wedding anniversary. I've seen this property many times as we've walked between Windermere and Bowness and been intrigued by the waterball outside. Didn't actually realise it was this hotel when I booked. We stayed in a lovely suite with an outside hot tub, a steam room,small sitting area and jacuzzi bath, as well as separate shower room. 'The Westbourne is a good bed & breakfast. Never met anyone from the staff, no one is on premise outside of check-in times it seems. Just a girl serving breakfast in the morning. Breakfast was good.'

'This is not a chain hotel...why would you want one? Where is the charm of living as the locals do? This place has that charm. This is a small business run by a very loving family. This is the authentic Blackpool experience. I have rarely seen people this welcoming and kind. Everyone was incredibly attentive and they went above and beyond to make sure I felt at home. The breakfast was delicious and I enjoyed every moment of my interaction with the family that runs it. Highly recommended. '

'De service was meer dan perfect, geweldig vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Dat maakte de wat verouderde en niet in geweldige staat van de accommodatie meer dan goed. Verder was alles aanwezig voor een hotel dat we alleen nodig hadden voor de overnachting.'

'As it was an over 50’s Hotel it really was excellent for the price, the manager and the staff we met could not do enough for you, nothing was to much to ask, the breakfast was lovely and well prepared, coffee and tea really hot. My wife was in a wheelchair so we where given a ground level room with access through the back with zero stairs.'
