  • Dit huisje met twee slaapkamers beschikt over een volledig uitgeruste keuken, een terras met uitzicht op het meer met gasgrill en een grote badkamer met een diep bad, perfect om in te weken. Er is een pierruimte beschikbaar voor het aanmeren van boten, dus neem deze mee en maak je klaar om herinneringen op te doen! Webster Lake is een sportmeer dat bekend staat om zowel zijn skiteam als zijn vissen, dus dit meer is perfect voor zowel de actiegerichte als degenen die het liever rustig aan doen en een paar lijnen uitwerpen. Deze specifieke accommodatie beschikt over een bank in de tuin aan het meer en het gerucht gaat dat het de beste visserij van het meer biedt, waarvoor helemaal geen boot nodig is, hoewel dat gerucht niet is onderbouwd. Slaapkamer één (de master) beschikt over een comfortabel queensize bed en slaapkamer twee heeft een groot bed en een draagbare wieg, voor degenen die het nodig hebben. De woonkamer heeft een uitklapbare bank (futon) voor extra slaapruimte. De volledig uitgeruste keuken bevat alles wat u nodig heeft om een maaltijd te bereiden. Linnengoed en handdoeken inbegrepen - breng gewoon uw boodschappen, uzelf en uw boot (indien gewenst). Naast het toestaan van alle sporten, beschikt Webster Lake over een klein zwemstrand, een restaurant aan het meer en de mogelijkheid om de historische Dixie te berijden. No complaints! Really nice cottage on the water! The owner was easy to communicate with and responded quickly to all my messages. Check-in and check-out super easy. We have family in the area and this cabin is in the perfect location for driving between the houses. We plan to return!

The actual cottage was very nice and clean. Lots of towels and blankets were appreciated. The balcony was great. The pier, water area and the hill to get down to them was a little tricky though. The lake is very mucky and full of lily pads, rocks and snails here. If you want to just sit and look at the cove or go fishing, this place is great. But if you want to hang out in the water and go swimming, it’s not.

The best feature of the property is the balcony that overlooks the small cove because it allowed us to watch all of the wildlife! We were thankful for the air conditioning because of how hot it was during our stay. The master bed was the only bed we used and it was very comfortable.The kitchen was stocked with all the things we needed to cook the few meals we chose to. Unfortunately, there is no dish washer so we had to hand wash everything we used. The cottage is just a short drive into North Webster with Wawasee and Syracuse just a bit further North where there are all kinds of shops and restaurants.

The balcony view was very relaxing overlooking the lake and homes across the cove. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. Would definitely recommend to others. It is also close to nearby towns.

Great host very accommodating

Great little get away fall break trip with my boys. Enjoyed fishing , watching movies that were provided and relaxed by the fire pit at night.

Great Stay!

The cottage being right on the water is awesome! We took our ski boat and docked it right behind the house BIG PLUS! The cottage had everything we needed and the extra bedding was great! Enjoyed the gas grill and the Adirondack chairs were appreciated. We enjoyed the deck in the morning and evenings. Would definitely stay here again!

This was the cutest and perfect retreat during a hectic week of preparation leading up to my daughter’s wedding. We LOVED sitting out on the balcony just looking at the water. The gas grill made dinners easy, and we even took a spin in the kayaks. Highly recommended.

Peaceful Getaway 2023

Needs cleaning.

Large enough for two to four people, with an ok clean bathroom. The walls were very dirty, and windows were in disrepair. The television did not work which was not ok for my husband. The location was ok and close to restaurants. The beach was across the lake but easy to get to.

Everything was pretty good! We enjoyed some much needed family time! The house fit 3 adults and 2 kids perfectly. The only few things that may need to be taken care of was the smell of dog in the rental, and the boat dock really didnt have tall poles to dock the boat on. And there was one frying pan and one boiling pot to cook with. And parking was a little rough but ok.Overall was a nice stay! The owner was quick with a return phone call! And was very nice!

Pleasant, Comfortable getaway

This was our first VRBO experience and was positive. The host was very responsive and flexible. The cabin is clean, well equipped and quite comfortable. We enjoyed our stay. However, we were not aware that there is a steep decline down to the water, which didn't allow my wife to get down to the lake and fire pit (due to her mobility issues). This wasn't a big issue for our short fall stay, but was a little disappointing.

The cottage was ok. It could be really nice if they would pay attention to the little things. Like lightbulbs that are out. The outside light at the front door didn't work. No lights on the decK. A Smart TV. That doesn't get the local channels. Just old movies .The dock very wobbly when walked on. And a incline of rocks to get to the dock. The best part was the rented Pontoon from Aloha boats.Great people. We had 2 problems the TV in living room didn't work and the heat didn't work..They did get a new TV. But.The heat never worked. But. We loved being at the lake.

Washer /dryer is all in one. It runs but the door does not shut properly at all. I ended up washing clothes in sink. Even after two hours in dryer, the small load of clothes were damp. The frying pans are n such bad shape they are not even fit for Goodwill. They need to be thrown out. Spouses side of King bed dipped. There are window air conditioners in all three rooms. They are a bit noisy and do not reduce humidity. Kayaks are great. The bathroom has nice counter space.

Great location.

I would have liked a screen in the second bedroom. And that bedroom had electrical tape keeping the trap door on the ceiling shut. And the same tape keeping a lamp shad on. I expected better. The price average said 100. I see no reason why it didn’t show the actual cost up front. That made a huge difference. Despite liking it, I will search for something cheaper next time. Also, the outdoor cushions were left out and all wet. We brought them in.

Nice weekend on the lake

Stayed here for a long weekend with another family couple. The cottage is well equipped with bath towels, kitchen supplies, some cooking spices (although not regular salt which was weird), a nice big fridge, newer stove etc. There’s plenty of space for four or more. It is typically well worn for a place of this nature, but very clean. The outside is not quite as well kept. Patio chair cushions are ripped and badly stained , but since they are white and sit outside that is to be expected. Be aware that the walk to the pier is steep gravel and a bit treacherous if you are not sure footed. And the pier is quite wobbly at the end making getting in and out of a boat a bigger challenge than you would think. We totally enjoyed the use of the kayaks. They are in great shape and fun to peruse the lake on in the early morning. All in all a great, no frills relaxed place on the lake.

House was clean and very well stocked. Beds were comfortable. I will mention I had to ask for check in instructions the day before we arrived, we also never received any check out instructions, so we just did what we typically do when we rent. The lake view is not at all as pictured. The house sits in a cove with a view of moss, muck and TONS of Lilly pads, There is a very steep gravel area that is slippery to walk down to the boat dock. The outside trash bin was full so had to leave our trash outside the bin. The deck and dock are in need of some TLC and there isn’t furniture to sit on so bring your own chairs. Being avid boaters on numerous lakes in Indiana North Webster is very small, cute little lake but very dirty water with lots of seaweed and moss and super shallow in a lot of areas. Not sure if it was the time of year or what.

Perfect place for a hassle free getaway.

This cottage is located on a portion of Webster lake that has a variety of beautiful views. The house has a generous amount of space for the cost and the owner was gracious enough to let us use his kayaks and paddle boat. The beds were very comfortable and the sheets were super soft. 10/10 would definitely stay here again.
