'My wife and I spent two nights with Andy & Pip at the lodge at the start of our New Zealand vacation. They were great hosts, picked us up at the ferry dock, helped guide us with local transportation options (take advantage of the bus system to the local wineries) and Pip provided a wonderful breakfast that was a highlight of our visit. 'Best hotel in New Plymouth '

'We had high expectations for this hotel and were very disappointed. The rooms were quite small. the bed was comfortable. However, the breakfast was very poor. if you want something on your bread you'll need to pay a lot for. Also the small plastic bottle of water in room cost us five dollars. do not believe the beautiful pictures'

'Service was excellent, food was great, Common lounge areas were comfortable, our room had fantastic lake views but the resort itself generally needs updating.'

'Wonderful stay in peaceful surroundings with a great view down into Rotorua. Close enough with a car to all the local attractions but far enough away from the busy town centre. Lovely breakfast, very comfortable room and even managed to find time for the hot tub! Would highly recommend! '

'Mooi ingericht hotel met goed en behulpzaam personeel. Het is een klein boetiekhotel op een centrale locatie in Wellington waar de klant centraal staat. Ook een hotel waar je een wasje kunt laten doen zonder per item te betalen. Dit is zowel voor zakelijke als vakantie reizen zeker een aanrader.'

'Goede keus dit hotel. We hadden een fijne, schone kamer met comfortabele bedden. Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en geeft advies bij het uitzoeken van excursies. Enige minpuntje vonden wij het restaurant. We zagen prachtige schotels voorbijkomen, maar wat wij bestelden viel erg tegen. Ontbijt is erg duur.'

'We arrived on a morning flight from Auckland at 7am. The purpose for our visit to Wellington was for the Marvel Convention for my 3yo godson. Check in was at 3pm. Staff allowed us to check into one of the rooms that was ready early. The rooms were nice and clean. The phones were down and advised reception who gave me their card and advised to ring directly to them. The view at the restaurant was beautiful. Didn’t get a chance to eat there but next time will give it a go. I highly recommend if...
