Our home is located at the end of a cul-de-sac in the quiet Birch Hill development. This home used to be listing #22036 with 51 positive reviews before we purchased it from the previous owners in 2016. We are friends who rented from them every year and are excited to continue the same traditions to you. Whether you are coming to Ski, Hike, Tube the Saco River, Shop at the North Conway outlets, or relax by the fireplace or in the hot tub, The Gecko Inn is small enough for one family yet spacious enough for two families to enjoy. It is minutes to the spectacular North Conway public golf course, Echo Lake, and to extensive hiking trails in the National forest, including the beautiful waterfalls and swimming pools of Diana's Baths. The Saco and Swift Rivers are very close by for water sports including summer tubing.

Awaiting you in North Conway Village, a short seven minutes away, is tax-free, outlet shopping, a plethora of spectacular restaurants, great nightly entertainment, numerous seasonal activities, sightseeing, parks and good old New Hampshire hospitality.

Family fun and entertainment abounds in the Mount Washington Valley area. StoryLand (20 minutes), Santa's Village (1 hour), the Conway Scenic Railroad (with visits from Thomas the Train and The Polar Express (Late Nov and Dec), Children's and weather museums, local farms, hay rides, and many other amusements are all within a short drive of the house. The Mount Washington auto road is an exciting day trip for the Summer or early fall visitors.

Skiers will appreciate the short distances to multiple ski mountains. Cranmore Mountain (10 Minutes), Attitash (20 min.), Black Mountain, Bretton Woods, King Pine, and Wildcat are all an easy drive. Come home to relax in the hot tub or sit by the fireplace to warm your toes. Stay in North Conway and enjoy the Mount Washington Valley to its fullest in every season!

Inside the spacious contemporary home you will find three floors. The open first floor has a full bathroom, a bedroom with two sets of bunk beds, a fully-equipped kitchen, a six-foot dining table for 6, breakfast bar for 4, cathedral ceiling Family Room, with a Sky Chair, TV, DVD and fireplace, that opens onto a 300-square-foot deck from which you can enjoy peace and solitude. There is an attached mud room for all your ski/snowboard/bike/outdoor gear. The deck also has a sun room with 5 person Nordic Hot Tub for year-round enjoyment.

The second floor has 2 Bedrooms, full bath and a loft area. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed, there is a full bathroom, and a loft area with a single day bed and seating space perfect for reading or playing a board game.

The lower level, finished with 3/4 bath, bedroom with two single beds and a 2nd family room with TV, sectional couch and a Futon sofa. Challenge your family members or friends to a Foosball tournament! This is a great added space for the kids to play while the adults are upstairs or for a second family to have their own space.

The house is ideal for one family or two families to share a vacation. This is not a "Party Home" as we are located in a quiet neighborhood and our guests must adhere to respectful noise levels at all times.

There is a gazebo in the backyard and a fire pit just outside for those romantic autumn evenings. There is not a grassed area for play as it is a wooded lot. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful, with conservation land nearby for hiking and cross-country skiing.

We are just 2 hours and 30 minutes from Boston, 3 hours from Worcester, and 4 hours from Hartford, CT. The Pizza Barn in Ossipee has been a family favorite to stop for Dinner or lunch when driving up.
