« I loved the concept. However, it was a muddy mess to get back there. I don’t mind mud but you can’t carry everything back with you. I think they could put a path way with wood berms or hravel. I fell and slid in mud so walking back with a clean change of clothes impossible because your most definiy gonna fall i. the mud. loved the animals though »

« It was very clean. The drive was a little tricky. But gps was made for a reason. It so definitely tiny. It smelled of fresh wood, and the wood work is impressive! If you can’t walk up a small set of stairs I wouldn’t book this. The bed you have to crawl into. Theres not much head room. But we didn’t. We had a great host. »

« The only thing I didn’t like on our stay is the lack of table and chairs inside the cabin (though there’s table and chairs outside: but it was raining hard so we’re not able to use it). The owner is great in communication though. »

« Host was very responsive. Clean well maintained Maine camp. Everything you need for an off grid camp experience. Enjoyed the wildlife and the view. The lake is warm and shallow. Although we didnt bring a canoe or kayak, it would be a great paddling spot. Some noise from the campground a little down the lake but mostly peaceful. We would return again »

« The cottage was perfect for us as a couple. It was clean, cute, and had all the amenities we needed. The Grover family did a great job decorating the cottage and leaving helpful notes throughout the cottage. It was close to the airport and only an hour from Bar Harbor. »
