'Lovely historic hotel that we enjoyed but also knew going in not to expect modern…yes the floors creak and doors and windows dont fit snuggly. We loved it for all those reasns! Staff is wonderful! Enjoy the front porch while you are there!'

'At more than 250 years old, the BRI is showing a bit of wear around the edges, but remains elegant and comfortable. Our lovely suite (larger than our NYC apartment) was comfortable and well-appointed and the staff could not have been more friendly and attentive. its a;lso a beautiful corner of the world, with rolling, wooded hills and fine dining scattered across the countyrside.'

'The room was probably the smallest American hotel room I had ever used. But it was great for what i was using it for, which was sleeping. Needs more outlets, and a larger shower with a higher shower head (only at shoulder height). '
