The space
This charming cabin is thoughtfully designed for both comfort and functionality.

✔ Bedroom 2: Double bed (150x200 cm) below and single bed (75x200 cm) above
✔ Bedroom 3: Single bed (90x200 cm) below and single bed (75x200 cm) above

The living room is the perfect place to relax after an active day – in front of the fireplace, watching a movie on TV, or from the daybed where you can lean back and take in the spectacular view. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals during your stay.

OUTDOORS
From the cabin, you can enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view stretching across the mountains. Ski trails nearby make it easy to head out for both short and long trips in the winter landscape. The alpine center is just around the corner (possible ski-in access).
During summer and autumn, the area offers wonderful hiking trails and biking routes right outside your door.

Aurdalsåsen, beautifully located in Valdres, is the perfect destination for those who appreciate fresh mountain air, spectacular scenery, and a peaceful atmosphere. The area offers a wide range of activities all year round, whether you prefer adventure or relaxation in nature.

Year-round activities:
✹ Hiking and cycling – A varied network of marked trails and mountain roads provides excellent opportunities for both short and long excursions on foot or by bike.
✹ Cross-country skiing – Well-prepared trails right by the cabin lead deep into the mountains, with connections all the way to Beitostølen.
✹ Downhill skiing – Valdres Alpine Center is close by, with possible ski-in access and slopes suitable for all levels.
✹ Fishing – Several nearby mountain lakes offer great fishing opportunities, whether you prefer a quiet summer evening by the water or exciting autumn fishing.
✹ Golf – One of Norway’s most scenic golf courses is just 8 km away, beautifully situated by a lake and known for its stunning natural surroundings.

In winter, enjoy a tasty lunch and a drink at Koja Panorama, located at the top station at 1,060 meters above sea level. Here you’ll find amazing mountain views – a perfect spot for a break between ski runs.

Experience spectacular nature! This cabin is also an ideal base for exploring Valdresflye, a scenic mountain road about one hour away. Enjoy panoramic mountain views as the road winds through dramatic landscapes at over 1,300 meters altitude. The area offers countless hiking opportunities, from short walks to longer mountain hikes.

Right by Valdresflye lies Jotunheimen National Park, Norway’s high mountain paradise, famous for its majestic peaks, crystal-clear lakes, and stunning scenery. Here you’ll find some of Norway’s most iconic mountains, including Besseggen, Galdhøpiggen (the highest mountain in Northern Europe), and Glittertind. Jotunheimen is ideal for hiking, biking, cross-country skiing, and outdoor adventures all year round.

For daily necessities, the nearest grocery store (Kiwi) is about a 15-minute drive down the valley. For a wider selection of shops, head to Leira or Fagernes – the regional center with a shopping mall, liquor store, cafés, and restaurants.

Guest access
Guests have access to the entire cabin except for the loft (owner’s storage) and the annex. Please note that the hot tub is not in use.

✹ The cabin is located about 2.5 hours from Oslo and Oslo Airport Gardermoen
✹ Bed linen for single duvets can be brought or rented from us

✹ The road up to the mountain has an automatic toll station (NOK 30). This is common in Norway and helps keep the road well maintained and cleared during winter.
