'We really enjoyed our weekend here. Quiet and secluded, but still very close to Grand Marais. A path just outside accesses a whole network of trails, we hiked to Pincushion Mountain. And the SHT connects here as well if you want to go further. The furnishings are simple in a very nice way; a folding table with two folding chairs, an electric kettle and a mini fridge are great for morning coffee or simple meals. 'It’s was a great stay even in -6 degrees weather. It’s an off grid yurt on an amazing property. Came up for birding to get some rare species. Definitely check out the local bar and grill, some of the most friendliest people around. '
