'It was a great getaway. The house and location where amazing. Just a little issue with a few of the games that we were looking forward to using. The oven didn't seem to heat properly when making pizzas the top was done but the crust was still doughy. The only other thing i would suggest is the handicap ramp to get into the property had a piece of wood making it hard to get onto the ramp itself. It was spacious and the beds were very comfortable. '

'This clean, cozy place was perfect for a weekend getaway. Conveniently located adjacent to Jay Cooke State Park made access to trails for daily hikes a breeze. And communication with the owners is the best I’ve ever experienced. They were incredibly responsive and made helpful recommendations for restaurants, trails, kayak rentals and more. We’d definitely stay here again! '

'Cottage as described. Adequate kitchenette with dorm sized fridge. There was not laundry facilities in the unit at the time of our stay. I had confirmed with VRBO prior to booking that there was laundry and was confirmed that it did. Please note that the bed has to be accessed from the bottom of the mattress as there is no room on either side to approach it. When I looked at the pictures on the site it did reflect this, so that was my error in realizing this. Other than the laundry...

'This place was incredibly sweet and a perfect spot for our family to end our North Shore vacation. Very old-school and absolutely charming. Rooms were tidy and very welcoming. Loved the quilts on the beds, the wonderful kitchen, cozy living room, and the incredible views of the lake. We will be returning next summer!'
