« Once a beautiful ocean front property, the Tamirand Reef Resort has seen better days. Location, location, location, with prime views of Buck Island and Green Cay. The marina still home to numerous fisherman with local knowledge of species and feeding patterns. Convenient to restaurant choices other than the limited bar menu on site. Real coffee instead of Maxwell would be a great improvement. The "Coconut Man" will open a fresh one for you straight from the tree. You get what you pay...

« Very out of the way remote stay, extremely small accommodations, the bed is a converted couch, although clean, air conditioning keeps the room a little cool, the road in is not for the faint hearted, not easy to say the least, property is very old, bathroom light is a pull chain, property says breakfast included, that means you get cereal and milk in your refrigerator, not a sit down meal like all other places! The bed only has a sheet to sleep on, no blankets, and bring extra toilet paper,...

« We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. « What an absolutely beautiful view and great location on the Island. Communication was amazing. Hosts informed us of the exterior upgrades which were not an issue. This place is so well thought out and conveniently stocked. We appreciated having the beach, chairs and ice chest. Everything was clean and in good shape.
