'The house, built 1870, would be a dream for children: candy, cookies, chocolate, muffins, candybars e v e r y w h e r e !! Inside it has an extensive collection of all kind of odds and ends, which makes the house so cozy! We stayed in the governer's room, a big room with a comfortable king bed. You must not count on (daily) cleaning and making the bed, because both jobs won't happen. That was a bit disappointing, because we stayed for four nights and had expected that to happen. 'We had a wonderful stay at La Quinta! The rooms were very clean, and the shower had plenty of hot water. The staff was excellent—friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The hot breakfast was delicious with a nice selection. The hotel itself was beautiful and very well maintained. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our stay and would definitely stay here again!'
