« The house was very clean and comfortable. I loved the sliders to the deck. We had a wonderful view of the lake and we could see all the birds easily from the kitchen. The only suggestion I have is that either a sliding screen door is added or a screen that fits in the door frame. That way, you can keep the door open without letting bugs in. « Our stay was amazing! The Pleasant View School was a perfect getaway for my wife and I. It is warm and inviting and very clean. Close to Galena and Dubuque. The school house theme was great and interesting history too. A great view of the sunset. A welcoming hand written note from our host was a nice personal touch. »
