'Though we only stayed for a night, I felt at home as soon as we arrived. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful to set us up and prepare us for the night. We were offered firewood which we used to have a small barbecue and s’mores outside our room right before we crawled into bed. The mix of homemade food with the suspenseful forest night ambiance made our stay fun and extremely comfortable. '

'This isn’t the fanciest place. It doesn’t have a gourmet kitchen, the rooms and spaces are all clean but not sleek and modern. But how do you beat a location and a house almost guaranteed to make great memories of a private swimming hole, osprey feeding in the river, fog coming in over the beautiful trees? We are a group of old friends and this place was so perfect for a catch up after decades in some cases of not seeing each other. I would absolutely stay here again.'

'This is a great house! Very clean and centrally located between Carmel and Monterey so easy access to the highway and other things in town. The rooms are extra spacious and we had a wonderful time.'
