'We went up to this area to do some skiing at Mount Sunapee. This cottage is close to the mountain, We wanted a dog friendly listing. This was perfect for our 3 labs and their crates and 3 adults. The mud room entrance is awesome for keeping the cottage clean and storing ski/snowboard boots. The cottage is beautifully decorated (like out of a magazine) and seems “like-new”. 'My dad, husband, and I all gravitated to the back deck and view of the lake. It was so peaceful and pleasant. The birds eating bugs in the air and ducks with their ducklings provided hours of viewing pleasure. We'd report to eachother when a certain momma duck was back and gather to watch the ducklings. Fishing, kayaking, biking around the lake and walking the nature trail, were all great too, but nothing compared to being so connected to the lake.'

'We had a weekend family vacation here consisting of three generations and every single person thoroughly enjoyed our time! Great open space yet plenty of rooms to accommodate private sleeping arrangements. We fished, canoed, and played games. It was perfectly relaxing yet full of fun and we cannot wait to go back!'

'Had a real nice stay! Everyone was comfortable w plenty of room to spread out both inside and out. On hotter days, the upstairs A/Cs did the job. Downstairs living space unit also made the area comfortable. The bedroom on that floor was a little hot as no unit in that room. Communication with the owner was superb, any minor problems that came up were resolved asap (a coffe pot dilemma! 'The house was super convenient to Mount Sunapee and Newport is a really nice town. There were two families staying at the house with kids ranging from 11 years old to 1 year old. Everyone was very comfortable and we all had a lot of fun. I highly recommend staying there.'
