Dumaine Cozy Home Historic Getaways

Cozy, single family home in a residential neighborhood. Located just 6 blocks from the French Quarter, this gem is the perfect home base for an exciting weekend in New Orleans. With hardwood floors, modern appliances, and a spacious kitchen, our home`s got it all. Lounge in the living room or barbecue under the stars in our side yard before hitting the town. 30 day minimum booking. Welcome!

Sleeps 6, side yard available for exclusive use. Kitchen stocked to prepare any meals, Keurig with coffee provided. Lovely living room and kitchen with breakfast bar. All bathrooms come with essentials such as 3-in-1 shampoo/conditioner/bodywash and fluffy towels!

Note that one bedroom has a sofa bed which is the 6th bed. There are also two additional sofa beds in the living room.

Street parking is free

This home is nestled on a corner which provides ample free street parking

The streetcar is 6 blocks on Rampart and can take you to Canal, Uptown
All reservations require a $500 refundable deposit.
This is a family neighborhood. We ask all our guests to be awesome representatives of their city while visiting ours.
Keep noise down in the evenings and quiet time after 10pm.

This house was so perfect for us! The great fenced yard made it so easy to have our dog Beaux along. A quick walk into the French Quarter through Louis Armstrong Park meant we rarely had to even move our car. Truly appreciated the little things like pods for the dishwasher and laundry and a HUGE container of Keurig pods (we did our best but didn't use them all in our week long stay.) Super friendly neighbors made it even better. 10/10

This home was perfect for our family of 5! Walking distance to the French Quarter shops and restaurants, but far enough away to be peaceful at night. The house is well equipped, very comfortable, and sparkling clean with no weird mold smell that is so common in this area. Highly recommend if you are looking for a comfortable place to stay while visiting NOLA.

House was clean, parking was easy. It is close to all the popular attractions but the neighborhood was very rowdy, loud and felt unsafe. We even saw a guy urinating onto a car right outside our window. We heard lots of loud street arguments as well. This went on til late at night both on sunday and monday. Walls are paper thin.

This was a super convenient place to the quarter, we did use LYFT to get there though. Close to the expressway and all.. We did not feel comfortable enough to walk to the Quarter at night time. But LYFT was super affordable

This house is fabulous. Close to everything, great for families and pets. We had a birthday celebration to attend in town and the entire family and our dog had a restful, central location. Easy walk to the French Quarter.

Weekend in NOLA

Great location, we spent three full days and walked everywhere. Easy walk to French Quarter and Frenchman St area. Took the streetcar to Garden district. Coffee drinkers loved the large selection of pods for the keurig. Loved the outdoor area on the side of the house. Great stay and would definitely book again.
